MHT CET 2020 Exam District Change Facility
Due to COVID-19 many students have requested the CET cell to allow them to change their district preferences for MHT CET 2020 CBT.
Taking the requests of the students and parents, CET cell is allowing the students who have submitted their form to change their exam district choices. The facility is open for 5 days from June 05 to 10, 2020. To change the exam district choices provided, visit mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in and login using login id and password.

MHT CET 2020 Admit Card
All registered candidates of MHT CET 2020 are issued admit card to appear for the exam in online mode. The candidates have to visit mahacet.org and using their login id and password access the link to download MHT CET 2020 admit card.
On the day of the exam students have to carry the printed copy of the admit card accompanied by a photo identity card in original and a PWD certificate if applicable. A photo ID proof can be any one of the following:
- PAN Card, or
- Indian Passport, or
- Driving License, or
- Voter’s Card, or
- Bank Passbook with Photograph, or
- Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph, or
- Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph, or
- Recent Identity Card issued by a recognized School / College, or
- Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card print with a photograph
Please note that the Ration card and Learning Driving License are not valid ID proof for MHT-CET 2020 and hence are not accepted at the exam center.
The facility of scribe: Candidates who avail the services of a scribe during the MHT CET 2020 also need to show this one document at the time of the exam. This is known as the ‘declaration by the candidate and scribe/writer’ and is given in proforma A of the MHT CET 2020 information brochure.
MHT CET 2020 Syllabus
The syllabus of MHT CET 2020 contains topics from class 11 and 12 as per the syllabus that is prescribed by syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

MHT CET 2020 Exam Pattern
The candidates can check below the exam pattern of MHT CET 2020:
- Mode of Exam – The mode of exam is Computer-based (online mode)
- Question paper language: The medium of question paper is English, Urdu, and Marathi
- Duration of the exam: Each of the groups that are PCM group and PCB group has been allotted 180 mins to complete the exam.
- Negative marking: There is no negative marking in the exam. The marks distribution in the paper is given below.

MHT CET 2020 Exam Centers
MHT CET 2020 exam centers are allotted to the candidaes via their admit card. The center is allotted as per thechoice of exam city given by the candidtaes while filling the online application form. The following are the states where MHT CET 2020 exam centers shall be established:

- Uttar Pradesh
Important note: If candidates opt for the both groups i.e. PCM and PCB, then they might be allotted different examination center for PCM paper and a different one for PCB paper.
MHT CET 2020 Answer Key
The answer key of MHT CET is available for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology a few days after the exam is over. The answer key is released as pdf over the official website, in which answers to questions are mentioned. The candidates can use MHT CET answer key to predict score in the exam. Marking scheme is +1 / +2 and no negative marking.
The answer keys are available for challenge and after reviewing the challenges the final answer key is published with changes if any. Based on the final answer key the result is calculated.
MHT CET 2020 Response Sheet
CET cell also uploads the response sheet of the candidates under their respective logins. In response sheet candidates can check the answers marked by them on the day of the exam. Using the response sheet and answer key candidates can check how many answers they have marked right in the exam and get an estimate of their scores.
To check the response sheet under the login, candidates have to use their login id and password.
MHT CET 2020 Result
CET cell declares the scorecard of MHT CET 2020 online under the login if the candidates. In the scorecard, candidates can check their score, percentile score, and personal details. To download MHT CET 2020 scorecard candidates have to use their login ID and password.
The raw score for MHT CET 2020 score is calculated as per the marking scheme and the following formula is used:
MHT CET 2020 Raw Score = (Total correct answers in Maths x 2) + (Total correct answers in Chemistry & Physics x 1)
The raw score of the candidates are converted into percentile score as the exam is held over a period of days.
Percentile score calculation: Basically the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0. The Percentile Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored below that particular score in examination. Therefore, the topper (highest scorer) of Examination get the Percentile of 100. The Percentile Scores will be calculated up to 5 decimal places to avoid bunching effect and reduce ties. MHT CET 2020 Counselling – CAP
MHT CET 2020 counselling is held via a centralised admission process called the CAP. The process of CAP includes the below given steps:
Step 1: Filling Online Application Form by Candidate for participation in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
Step 2: Document Verification at Facilitation Centre
Step 3: Display or Publishing of Provisional merit list, Submission of grievances, if any, and Display or Publishing of Final Merit Lists
Step 4: Display of Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) available for respective CAP Rounds
Step 5: Filling up and confirmation of online option form having preferences of Courses and Institutions prior to respective CAP Rounds
Step 6: Display of Provisional Allotment of respective CAP Round indicating the allotted institute and Course to the candidate
Step 7: Reporting and accepting the offered seat at Admission Reporting Centre by the Candidate

To be eligible to apply for MHT CET 2020 the follwoing eligibility is needed:
- Qualification: Passed / appearing in class 12th
- Nationality: Indian

To apply, candidates need to visit the website and then click on the red tab for “Registration (for new candidates)”. Following it, a small instruction window appear on the screen. Candidates have to read all the instructions and when done, click on the “Ok” button. After the steps above, candidates have to register by entering e-mail id, mobile number, parents details, etc. Once registered, candidates can fill details and upload images in the application form of MHT CET 2020.
