Exams have been conducted from time immemorial. There is nothing new about it. The stress is a recent addition to it. And only YOU can banish it. Every newspaper you read, any article that lectures you about harmful impacts of taking stress on your health, and spreading their boring breathing exercises, you get nothing new from them. Well Not anymore!

Important: SNAP 2017-2018 Registration is open. Apply now!

Incorporate some fun experiments in your lessons that you take up for the day. One incident that I want to share with you while I was preparing for Logical reasoning related Blood and Relations concepts. I picked my mom one day and told her to explain the whole family tree to me. But that ended up a really devastating one because it was a really long tree. I was like how did my elders got so much time to raise such a big family. So what I did next was something I thought would never work but it did. I actually made a chart. Keeping myself in center and drawing the relatives in rectangular shapes around me. Once I had a visual of it, things got a little simpler. No one told me to do that. But i just thought that it would be easy. So guys! If I had stressed out  would have never been able to learn to simplify the solution. So I eliminated the stress and got what I wanted.

This article is dedicated to all those SNAP aspirants who study day and night even at times they feel they want to give up but they keep on going on still. Salute to you guys! Here read on the article to get some more stories and share in the box below if you have some incidents like that too. We would love to share them with our readers.

SNAP 2017 Exam Pattern

Before we dig in deep, let’s us get an idea about SNAP Exam. The SNAP exam will have 150 objective type questions from topics such as (i) 40 questions from General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability (ii) 40 questions from Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency (iii) 30 questions from Current Affairs (iv) 40 questions from Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Each question will be worth 1 mark. Therefore, a total 150 marks will be fetchable from the paper. Candidates will get only about 120 minutes to complete the exam using Blue or Black ball point pen only. There will be Negative marking of 25%.

Sections No. of Questions Total Marks
General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability 40 40
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency 40 40
Current Affairs (of last 2 years) 30 30
Analytical & Logical Reasoning 40 40
Total 150 150

The Correct Method of Study

What candidates usually do is that they buy a lot of books and think that they would read them all, but by the time exam comes, they realise that they didn’t even touch those books. So what they are left with is that they cram. And when they begin to write their answers in the exam this is their reaction:-

That’s right! Huh. so how you can escape this giant hole is by having a few books and your handmade notes. No one can understand you and your writing better than you! Hehehhehh. Take down things in your own handwriting. But hey don’t just highlight the important lines and try to memorise them for hours. That not good too.  It does serve its purpose only when you want to chunk some really must add pointers i your knowledge pocket.
