MP PAT 2018 exam was conducted 21st and 22nd April 2018. Vyapam has announced the 2018 examination calendar which contains exam date of MP Pre Agriculture Entrance Test 2018 also. It is a state level exam for admission to B.Sc (agriculture), B.Sc (Horticulture), B.Sc (forestry), B.Tech (agricultural science). The exam is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board. This board is also known as MP Vypam. This exam is a gateway to the admission into various agriculture colleges and institutions of the state of Madhya Pradesh. MP PAT 2018
The exam is an offline (pen paper based) test which consists of around 200 MCQs from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology etc. The duration of exam of 3 hours (180 minutes). All the important dates regarding the MA PAT exam 2018 have been mentioned in the table.

MP PAT Entrance Test registration process has been started as per the schedule has given above. Candidates who are seeking admission to agriculture courses should fill and submit the application before the last date. Candidates who are appearing for MP PAT Entrance Test 2018 has to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
MA PAT 2018 Application Form
Candidates who are are interested in the courses and are eligible for the exam can register for the exam to secure a seat in of the courses. The direct link is given on the “Application Form” Page.
- Candidates can fill the application form probably in online mode only.
- They may visit the official website to register for the exam. The application process was carried out online.
- It was required to fill their basic personal and academic details.
- Candidates might also need to upload scanned images of their recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression.

The application fee could be paid through both online or offline mode. The candidate has to pay the portal charges for applying through the KEYSOK or Registered Citizen User.
MA PAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can go through the eligibility to check if they are eligible for the exam. The eligibility criteria for the exam. The eligibility criteria for the different courses are as follow
- Age limit: There is no upper or lower age limit eligibility.
B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc. (Horticulture)
- Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- They must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
- Candidates who will be appearing for their class 12th exams this year will also be eligible to apply for the MA PAT 2018 exam.
B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)
- Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- They must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Maths as their subjects.
- Candidates who will be appearing for their class 12th exams this year are also eligible to apply for the MA PAT 2018 exam.
B.Sc. (Forestry)
- Candidates must pass the physical fitness test, in which candidate have to walk 25 km into 4 hours.
- Height: Height must be more than 163 cm, in case of Gorkha, Garhwali, Nepali, and Kumaoni people and the people from North East, Ladakh and Bhutan the Height is fixed at 152.5 cm.
- Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- They must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biotechnology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
- Candidates who will be appearing for their class 12th exams this year are also eligible to apply for the MA PAT 2018 exam.
MA PAT 2018 Admit Card
The admit card will be available on official website. Candidates can download the admit card from vyapam.nic.in. Candidates may need their application number and date of birth to download the admit card. The admit card will have information about exam timings and center. Candidates will be required to carry their admit card along with a photo ID proof ( any one of Voter ID card, Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving Licence, Passport).
Exam Pattern
The MA PAT 2018 exam is looked forward to be a pen paper based (offline) exam. The exam has 200 MCQs which are to be answered within a span of 3 hours. There is no negative marking in the exam. The pattern of the exam will differ for different courses. The exam pattern of various courses is discussed below.

MP PAT 2018 Syllabus
The syllabus of the exam is as per the syllabus of candidate’s class 11th and 12th subjects which include Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Agriculture, Basic maths, Crop production, Horticulture, etc. Candidates can prepare from their textbooks of class 11th and 12th for the respective subjects.
MP PAT 2018 Result
The result of MA PAT 2018 is expected to be announced few days after the exam, online on the official website vyapam.nic.in. The candidates will need to enter roll number and date of birth on the official website to check their result. The result will have candidate’s name and rank. The rank will be given to the candidate as per the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.
Counselling Process
The counselling process will most probably be carried out a month after exam for admissions of candidates in the courses listed above. Candidates can apply for these courses in various colleges and institutes of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates will be called for admissions on the basis of their rank and their choices. Once a seat has been allotted to the candidate they may be required to report in the allotted institute along with necessary documents for admission process.
