Step 1: Access the Online Test Booking System (OTBS)
Access the direct link above on this page when the MU OET 2020 slot booking starts. Or you can visit the website, manipal.edu and locate the OTBS link.
Step 2: Login
The next step is to log in using the application number and password that was generated while filling the MU OET 2020 application form.
Step 3: Read the instructions
A page opens with important instructions. Read them carefully and proceed by clicking on the link that says “Book a seat”.
Step 4: Select the Exam center and date range
After clicking on the link the candidates get to select their exam centre and date range. Note that here the candidates have to be quick as the availability of the slots keeps changing every second as the MU OET 2020 slot booking is done in real-time.
Step 5: Choose Slots

What If You Do Not Book The MU OET 2020 Slot?
The candidates who do not do MU OET 2020 slot booking before the last date, get the allotted exam centre, date and time by Manipal University. For such candidates, the University allot the seats from the center that are yet not occupied or based on other criteria.
The disadvantage for such candidates is that they do not get to book their preferred slots and the slots allotted by the University might not be convenient for them.

Important Points for MU OET 2020 Slot Booking
MU OET 2020 slot booking has to be done carefully, so the following points can be followed while booking the slots.
- The request for rescheduling the paper time are not be accepted
- The candidates who book the slots and do not appear for the test are considered Absent. However, they can appear for the second attempt.
- If the exam / test centre gets cancelled, then another test date / centre is allotted.
MU OET 2020 Slot Booking for Multiple Attempts
Candidates can attempt MU OET 2020 for a maximum of 2 times. However, the MU OET 2020 slot booking is to be done for both the 2 attempts as per the rules below:

Rule 1: The candidates who book the slots for attempt 1 can only book the slots for attempt 2.
– That means, if you have not booked the slots for attempt 1 you cannot even book the slots for attempt 2.
Rule 2: If a candidate do not book the slots for any attempt they are not eligible to appear for MU OET 2020.
– In short, if no slot booking is done, candidates cannot appear for MU OET.
Rule 3: If a candidate is absent for attempt 1 they can book slots for attempt 2.
– If you have booked the slots for attempt 1 and have not appeared in attempt 1 you can still book slots for attempt 2.
Fee for second attempt slot booking: The slot booking for attempt 1 is free of cost. However, for attempt 2 slot booking a fee is charged. Last year the fee charged is Rs. 1400/-.
Time limit for Attempt 1 and 2 bookings: The booking for attempt 2 depends on the slot booked for attempt 1. Check how below:

MU OET 2020 is held at a national level for admission in various UG, PG and Super Specialty courses. The students have to appear in the exam in the online mode only.
