Mysore University PG Entrance Exam 2017
Mysore University will conduct the entrance exam for admission to the various PG programmes at following colleges. Entrance Examination is Compulsory for all Post Graduate Degree courses for all candidates except for Foreign Nationals with Foreign Degree. Candidates have to apply and appear for entrance exam separately for separate courses, except M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Tech (CCT) and M.Tech (CST) for which candidates have to contact Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Entrance Examination will be conducted for admission to all P.G.Programms. Admission shall be made on the basis of the merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of the aggregate marks obtained in the relevant subjects at qualifying Degree Examination (all three years), and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance Examination.

- The candidates claiming reservation under Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB are required to pay full fee at the time of admission. Subsequently the Govt. would reimburse the same directly to their respective SB A/c.
- Applications without valid certificates and inadequate information will not be considered and are liable to be rejected.
- Admissions will be made as per the Government orders issued from time to time relating to reservation of seats. Allotment of seats to other university candidates is as per the existing rules of the university.
While selecting the candidates as per reservation to various categories it may be noted that all applicants will have a right to stake claim under General Merit in addition to their claim under various reservation categories. While allotting seats under General Merit, candidates from Sl.No.1 in the Consolidated Merit List be considered irrespective of any claim of reservation category the candidate belongs to. The names of candidates so selected be arranged in descending order of Merit and selection list be prepared accordingly.
Soon after the list of Selected candidates for admission is ready, the same may be notified (Consolidated list/Selected list/Waiting list/Rejected list, with reasons for rejection) on the Notice Board. A soft copy of the same be sent to The Deputy Coordinator, Information Communication Division before 5.00 PM of 20.07.2017to arrange for hosting the same on the University website on22.07.2017so as to enable candidates under Scheme–A to get admitted themselves on 24.07.2017 and 25.07.2017 between 11.00 A.M. and 5.00 P.M
