Mysore University Ph.D 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have secured at least having 55% of aggregate marks for General Merit candidates, 50% for OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST/Cat-1/PC/transgender, in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from the recognized
Universities/Institutions are eligible to apply. The candidates should satisfy the other eligibility conditions that are stipulated in the regulations. Candidates who are currently pursuing their Master’s Degree at Final Year may also apply
Mysore University Ph.D 2020 Exam Pattern
- Part A shall contain 50 Objective type questions of one Mark each.
- Part B Contains Essay type/short answer questions for 50 Marks. The duration of the examination will be 3(three) hours. Both part-A and part-B put together are evaluated for 100 marks
Instruction to Candidates
There is no upper age limit to apply for the Ph.D Entrance test.
Foreign Nationals with Indian/Foreign degrees have to contact the Director, International Centre, University College of Fine Arts premises, Manasagangotri, Mysuru-570006, and submit the application for admission to Ph.D Degree. These candidates are expected to follow the overseas student’s admission norms (for eg- Equivalence certificates, award of scholarships from host country etc.,) in addition to the norms of 2016 Ph.D Regulations of the University of Mysore.
