- Candidates are required to have a graduation degree in teaching and they can be an in-service teacher. or
- Candidates can be a non-working graduate in teaching but they must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching or related experience.or
- Candidates can be a Postgraduate in psychology/education/social work/child development/special education (Candidates having one year of teaching or related experience will get preference over the other candidates).
Note: In all of the above cases candidates are required to have 50% marks (5% of relaxation will be given to the SC/ST candidates)
