How to Use NEET 2019 Answer Key to Calculate Scores?

Whether a candidate needs to estimate their NEET scores with the help of the answer key, he/she need to follow the same instructions provided below.

Step No. 1 – Download a copy of the NEET 2019 Answer key and start verifying the answers.

Step No. 2 – Over the question paper and the answer key, you shall find questions from 3 sections, namely physics, chemistry and biology. Section by section, keep matching your answers!

Step No. 3 – Follow the marking scheme, while estimating your scores. That is, +4 for correct answers and -1 for negative answers.

Step No. 4 – Likewise, keep evaluating your NEET 2019 response sheet, section by section.

Step No. 5 – Finally, sum up all the marks secured in the 3 sections to get your total NEET 2019 scores.

NEET 2019 Question Paper

NTA releases the question paper for all the different NEET 2019 sets, held on May 05, 2019. Candidates can find the NEET 2019 Question Paper from this page. The question paper can be availed in any of the 11 languages for which it is made available. NEET question paper is bilingual in nature. That means, one language medium is that of English language, whereas another language medium are – Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu or Urdu.

NEET Official 2019 Answer Key by NTA

For national level medical exam like NEET, a candidate can find both unofficial and official answer keys, after the exam has been conducted. Ever wondered what is the difference between an official and unofficial NEET 2019 Answer key? Check the difference from below:

  • Official NEET Answer key – Released over the official website of the NEET exam, this version of the answer key is said to be more authentic in nature than the other ones. This is so because it is directly released by the National Testing Agency. It shall mention all correct answers for all the 3 section’s questions.
  • Unofficial NEET Answer key – This type of answer key is released by several coaching institutes like Allen Kota, Potential, Aakash, Resonance, etc. on their respective official websites. As these answer keys are released just after the exam has been conducted, the unofficial answer key is not considered to be a reliable source of marks calculation, in front of the official ones.

NEET 2019 Response Sheet

Over candidate’s login, a candidate can find their NEET 2019 response sheet. Along with the question paper, on the same day, NTA releases the response sheet on its official website, ntaneet.nic.in. On the day of the exam, as the candidate had marked the answers for every section, it shall appear exactly similar to that. The purpose of providing candidates with the response sheet is that a candidate is able to estimate their scores as accurately as possible.

NEET 2019 Result

After releasing the official NEET 2019 answer keys, NTA announces the result on its official website, ntaneet.nic.in. Candidates need to log in with their credentials provided at the time of registration. On the basis of the scores secured by the candidate, he/she is further called to appear for counseling round. 15% All India Quota seats are to be filled through MCC counselling and remaining seats are allocated in state counselling. The seats are solely filled on the basis of NEET ranks.

About NEET 2019

National Eligibility-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) 2019 is to be conducted on May 5, 2019, between 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This national level entrance exam is conducted across 154 cities in national level in offline mode. Candidates have to attempt questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) sections for 4 marks each. The negative marking scheme is also applicable. For every incorrect answer, a mark is deducted. Further, candidates must note that NEET 2019 scorecard is valid for 3 years from the date of result declaration.
