Is There Any Chance of NEET 2020, JEE Main 2020 Postponed Again
Right now, India ranks 3rd in world, with 2,465,000+ number of corona virus cases. Hence, the concern of the students is valid and the possibility of further postponing of the exam is high. However, now the chances of postponing the exam are slim.
The only reason why exams should not be postponed is because postponing it means further delay in the admission process. Other than that, keeping the safety of the students in mind, it seems valid to postpone NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020.
For NEET, more than 16 lakh students will appear and for JEE Main around 9 to 10 students will take the test. So, when the exam will be held for so many students, following will be difficult.
- changes of spreading corona virus will be very high.
- maintaining social distancing will be difficult.
- it will difficult to prepare sanitized centers, where students can sit in an appropriate distance.
- Transportation on the exam day will be difficult and hazardous.
However, MHRD and NTA are competent authorties. They will surely make the best arrangements to hold the exam.

Can NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 be Held as Proctor Test (Online Test From Home)
A lot of colleges and university opted for proctor test mode to conduct the exam this year. So, the questions arises can NTA conduct both the exams online?
A proctor test is an online test. It is commonly refereed to as test from home because students can take it from any place and any system. To take a proctor test, students just good internet connection, a appropriate decide and a camera.
Well, anything can happen. However, it the chances are less. To conduct an online test for so many students is not easy. Also, NEET is an offline exam. It has always been held offline, NTA cannot make such a huge change for students in such small span of time. Also, possibility of cheating in proctor test is very high. This is also one reason because of which NTA might not go for this mode.
On the other hand, if NTA finds a good body to make the test cheating free then the agency can atleast hold JEE Main 2020 as a proctor test.
NEET is the only entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BHMS, and BAMS admission. 100% medical seats (undergraduate) in India are filled via NEET.
