North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has postponed NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2020. It has been postponed due to corona virus catastrophe. Earlier, the exam was supposed to take place on April 18 and 19, 2020. Due to the lock down, the institute is also not working. The new exam date will be announced after the 21 days lockdown is over.
The notice about NERIST NEE 2020 postponement was uploaded on the official website of the institute, nerist.ac.in. It says, “Keeping in mind the order of MHA of 21 days lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic and according to the advisory issued by MHRD and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Competent Authority of NERIST has postponed NERIST Entrance Exam 2020″. Considering the postponement of the exam, the release of NERIST NEE 2020 admit card has also been delayed. This has been stated in the notice as well, that the new dates for the admit card will be released soon. Earlier, NERIST NEE 2020 admit card was supposed to be issued by April 05, 2020. NERIST NEE admit card releases online at the institute’s official website.
It is an important document that has to be taken to the exam centre and can be downloaded by entering the application number and password in the login window of the official website. It consists of details like exam date, exam time, address of the exam centre, some important instructions to be followed on the day of exam.

NERIST Entrance Examination is conducted at 3 levels for admission in Base Module, Degree Module courses in Technology stream and Degree Course in Forestry stream. NERIST NEE is basically conducted at 3 levels; NEE-I, NEE-II, NEE-III. All the exams at 3 levels are 150 marks and are conducted for the duration of 3 hours. The paper consists of multiple-choice questions. The exam is conducted at 14 centres. In the exam, the questions are framed from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Vocational subject.
