Note: Due to some errors found in the NIMCET–2019 results announced on June 08, 2019, the results of NIMCET 2019 are revised. Only the rank cards dated June 09, 2019 are valid for admissions to the MCA programme in all the participating NITs as well other institutes which use the NIMCET–2019 ranks for the admissions to their MCA programme.All the candidates are requested to take the print out of the new rank card dated June 09, 2019 for counselling and admissions purposes.

How to Check NIMCET 2019 Result?
Candidates are required to follow certain steps in order to check their results. The steps for the same are given below:

Step 2: Next, the candidates have to log in by entering their email id and password as obtained after the NIMCET Registration.
Step 3: Click on the “Login” button to submit the details.
Step 4: On submitting the login details, in the next screen, candidates can check their result.

Qualifying Criteria for Allotment of Rank
The candidates are going to allotted with a rank based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying test. The criteria on which the rank is going to be allotted is given below:
The marks obtained by the candidates in every subject of NIMCET 2019 needs to be multiplied by the factors given below to make maximum marks 1000.
- Mathematics by 3
- Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning by 1.5
- Computer Awareness by 2
- English by 1
NIMCET 2019 Tie – Breaker Criteria
If in case a rank is shared by two or more candidates, then a tie – breaker criteria is going to be applied t resolve the tie. Let us see what is the criteria to resolve the tie:
- As the first way, it is going to be resolved on weighted marks in Mathematics.
- If the tie still persists, then it is going to be resolved by keeping in mind the marks in Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning.
- If the tie still persists after following the above criteria, then the marks in Computer Awareness is going to be considered.
- If in case, the tie is not resolved by following any of the above criteria then it is resolved by age i.e. the elder candidate gets preference.
