National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) has postponed entrance exam for Ph.D., super speciality, postdoctoral and postgraduate courses. The revised exam date will be announced in due course of time. Initially, NIMHANS planned to hold the exam on March 28 and 29, 2020, however, due to the widespread outbreak of COVID-19, the PG session 1 online entrance exam has been delayed until further notice.
One of the most prominent medical institutes of India, NIMHANS, conducts online entrance test for admission in post graduate courses. It offers admission in 2 phases and for now, only phase 1 exam has been postponed. The notice for postponement, with number NIMH/A&E/Admission/2020-21, was uploaded on the NIMHANS official website nimhans.ac.in on March 12, 2020.

NIMHANS PG Entrance Exam 2020
NIMHANS conducts entrance exam for admission of candidates in super Specialty, postdoctoral and postgraduate,and Ph.D., courses. The registration for NIMHANS admission 2020 is closed and the candidates are yet to appear for the entrance exam for admission. In this lines, NIMHANS was to issue the admit card for the entrance exam to all the registered candidates. However, with the postponing of PG entrance exam, download of admit cards has also been delayed.
NIMHANS entrance exam is held in online mode and the exam has 100 MCQ type questions. Candidates are needed to complete the exam in 90 minutes.
Impact of COVID-19 On Other Entrance Exam
Not only NIMHANS entrance exam 2020 but every day there are many exams that are being postponed to avoid the risk of COVID-19 spread. Most of the national level entrance exam and the state level exam like NIMHANS entrance exam, require students to step out of their homes and gather at a center to take the tests.
