NIMS University PG Medical Admission 2017 through NEET PG
NIMS University PG Medical Admission 2017 will be based on scores of NEET PG 2017. Candidates who have appeared and qualified NEET PG 2017 are eligible for admission based on their rank in the above examination. Those candidates who have not qualified NEET PG 2017 can unfortunately not take part in seat allotment.
- M.D. (Doctor of Medicine): Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Radio-Diagnosis, Tuberculosis & Respiratory Medicine (TB & RN), DVL (Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG), Psychiatry, and Anatomy.
- M.S. (Master of Surgery): Anatomy, Otorhinolarynology (E.N.T.), General Surgery, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics.
- M.D.S. (Master of Dental Surgery): Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Oral Pathology, Periodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Pedodontics, Oral Medicine & Radiology and Public Health Dentistry.

NIMS PG Medical 2017 Application Form
Application Form can be filled at the official website www.nimsuniversity.org and for information.
The candidates who are interested in opting for NIMS Medical / Dental College – NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan for admission to MD / MS / MDS courses through NEET counselling can upload their details on the online application form available at NIMS university website www.nimsuniversity.org; just for information. However, State Government will conduct counselling on merit basis.
MD/MS – The candidate must have passed the MBBS examination and should have completed satisfactorily one year of compulsory rotatory internship after passing the final MBBS Examination and should have permanent/provisional registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
MDS – The candidate must have passed the BDS examination and should have completed satisfactorily compulsory rotatory internship as per DCI rules & regulation after passing the final BDS Examination and should have permanent/provisional registration with Dental council of India/ State Dental Council.
Duration: 3 Years (for candidate holding PG Diploma in the same Medical subject, the course duration shall be 2 years)

There will be counseling for admission to Post Graduate Courses in different subjects. Selected candidates of PG Medical/Dental Admission Examination appearing for Counseling will be required to fill a Performa. Candidates shall appear before the Counseling Committee in person.
Selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of the merit list of NEET PG 2017. The selection will be based on merit-cum-choice and preference for the colleges and subjects. The students have to fill the preference chart for the colleges and subjects at the time of filling admission form. The students will be allotted the colleges strictly accordingly to the preference chart.
Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission
The following original certificates/documents of the candidates admitted shall be received in the Office of the Principal, of concerned Medical/Dental College at the time of admission:
- Secondary School / 10th / High School Certificate.
- MBBS/ BDS Degree
- MBBS/BDS Final Professional Mark-Sheet
- Other documents that state government specify for counselling.
The documents shall be returned to the candidates on completion of the course or at the time of removal of his/her name from the rolls of the University after clearing the outstanding University dues.
All admissions shall be provisional in the first instance and shall be liable for cancellation at any time if it is found that the candidate has furnished wrong information or has concealed the facts intentionally.
