National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Hall Ticket
The received applications are scrutinized at NIN, Hyderabad. The institute publishes a list of eligible candidates after scrutiny and releases the hall tickets for them. Candidates can check the eligible candidates’s list and download the hall ticket from nin.res.in. The applicants have to download this hall ticket and bring it in printed format to the exam centre. Details such as name of candidate, name of exam, date & time of entrance test, test venue etc. are present on the admit card/ hall ticket of National Institute of Nutrition Entrance Test.
National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Entrance Exam Pattern
All the eligible candidates have to appear for an entrance test if they want a seat in the Master of Science courses in the institute. Check the pattern of the entrance test below.

Entrance Exam is conducted only if number of applications is more than 50. In case of less than 50 applications, entrance test is not conducted and selection is made amongst eligible candidates based on merit in qualifying examination.
National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Cut Off
To qualify the entrance exam and take part in the counselling rounds, the test takers must secure more than the minimum marks prescribed by ICMR – NIN. The qualifying marks for the entrance test are as follows.

National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
All the candidates must possess the qualifications given below to be eligible for admission to M.Sc courses.
M.Sc Sports Nutrition
- The candidates must have one of the following UG degrees:
- B.Sc (Nursing)
- MBBS
- B.Sc with Nutrition/ Foods & Nutrition/ Home Science ( specialization in Food & Nutrition)/ Applied Nutrition and Public Health/ Bio-Chemistry/ Zoology/ Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Science/ Nutrition & Dietetics.
- Minimum marks required in UG degree: 50% for SC/ST candidates and 55% for others.
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply.
M.Sc Applied Nutrition
- One of the following undergraduate degrees is required.
- B.Sc in Home Science (specialization in Food & Nutrition)/ Nutrition/ Food & Nutrition/ Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics/ Applied Nutrition & Public Health / Food Science & Quality Control.
- B.Sc in Life Sciences (Botany/ Zoology/ Genetics/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry)
- MBBS
- BAMS
- Minimum marks required in qualifying degree: 50% for SC/ST candidates and 55% for others.
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply.

National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Seat Reservation
The total seats available for admission are divided into State Quota (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh candidates) and Central Quota (other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh candidates).
M.Sc Sports Nutrition: There are a total of 15 seats. 1/3rd seats, i.e, 5 seats are under State Quota. Rest 10 seats are for Central Quota admissions.
M.Sc Applied Nutrition: There are a total of 20 seats. 1/3rd seats are under State Quota. Rest 2/3rd seats are for Central Quota admissions.

National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Result
The institution releases the result of the entrance test on its website as per schedule. It is released in the form of a merit/selection list pdf. A link to check the result is also provided on this page after it is declared. On the basis of result, qualified candidates are invited for the counselling procedure.
Tie-breaker: Following criteria are taken into consideration for resolution of cases where 2 or more candidates have same test scores.
- total percentage of the marks in the qualifying examination are considered to decide the rank.
- if tie exists, older candidates are given preference.
National Institute of Nutrition Admission 2020 Counselling
The counselling procedure is undertaken after declaration of result. Selected candidates are intimated about schedule of counselling after the result. After the 1st round of counselling, another round may also be conducted if seats remain vacant.
