NMAT 2019 – NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) exam date is October 04, 2019. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the conducting body of NMAT 2019. From July 02, 2019, the NMAT registrations 2019 is starting. The candidates who have the academic qualification of 10+2+3 level are eligible to apply for NMAT 2019. NMAT is a national level entrance exam that in the start was being held by NMIMS for admission in the University itself. However, GMAC took over the exam and at present conducts it at a national level for admission in the MBA courses across 19 participating institutes. Know all about NMAT 2019 on this page.
NMAT is an annual comper based test. The cores of NMAT is accepted by many other institutes except for the 19 participating institutes. This makes the total number of colleges that accept NMAT 2019 scores to be 41 in India, South Africa, and the Philippines. Check NMAT 2019 dates below:

NMAT 2019 Eligibility
As such there are no specific eligibility criteria as specified by GMAC for NMAT 2019. However, before applying for NMAT, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria of the institute where they wish to take admission via the NMAT scores.
However, the general eligibility criteria include the following for NMAT 2019:
- Candidates must have an education level of 10+2.
- The candidates must also possess a graduation degree.
NMAT 2019 Registration and Application Form
The candidates have to register for NMAT 2019 to be able to fill the application form and apply for NMAT 2019. Therefore the candidates can check below the NMAT registration and application form fill up process:
1st step: Register first at nmat.org.in
2nd step: Complete the application form
3rd step: Validate your email id by click on the link that is sent to you after step 2.
4th step: Login and complete the rest of the data in the form. These data are related to your personal information, contact information, educational and work experience, program/school preference, additional information & NMAT Exam terms & conditions.
5th step: Submit the details. you get the NMAT registration number at this point. note it down.
6th step: Pay the application fee
7th step: Check your email for the confirmation mail of the successful registration of NMAT.
- Mode of payment: You can pay the application fee using Visa or MasterCard Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking/American Express Card/ Diners Card, IMPS, UPI and Mobile Wallets.
- Application fee: The NMAT 2019 application fee is Rs. INR 1900 plus applicable taxes.
What are NMAT 2019 Registration-Retake, Re-Scheduling, and Late registrations?
This a unique feature of NMAT. GMAC allows the candidates to retake the exam 2 more times if they are not satisfied with the first attempt. Therefore in such a case, the candidates have to register for the retake exam each time. This is called the NMAT 2019 registration -retake.
Re-scheduling of NMAT 2019 is the process using which the candidates can select an exam date of their choice. The re-scheduling facility is available for the retake exams too. A minimum gap of 15 days is needed between any two attempts. Also note that “First come First serve” principle applies to both registration and scheduling.
GMAC opens the NMAT 2019 registration window twice. First in the month of July and then in the month of October. Candidates can apply anytime out of the two registration window for NMAT.

NMAT 2019 has 3 sections from where the questions are asked in the exam. These sections are:

- In this section, the candidates have to showcase their hold over the English language. Therefore in this section, the candidates have to prepare by reading a lot of good books and enrich your vocabulary.

- The candidates have to prepare in this section by increasing their speed and accuracy.

NMAT 2019 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of NMAT enables the candidates to understand the exam marking scheme, the number of sections in the exam and the marks distribution. Therefore, below is the NMAT 2019 exam pattern:

- A candidate once moves to another section cannot return back to the section. Also, each section must be completed in the allocated time only. Once a candidate closes out of a section, all answers are considered final. All the sections are individually timed.
NMAT 2019 Admit Card
The candidates can download their NMAT 2019 Admit Card after they have successfully completed the application process. To get the admit card the candidates have to login into their NMAT 2019 dashboard and download it. The admit card has the allotted test date, time and exam center.
The candidates need to carry the NMAT admit card to the test center without fail. The candidates are not allowed inside without the same. Accompany the admit card with a valid photo Id proof. The NMAT Admit Card is made available for each retakes the candidates take.

NMAT 2019 Result
GMAC declares NMAT 2019 scores online on the website. The candidates are also indicated about the availability of their scores via email.
GMAC declares the GMAT Result under the candidate’s login and in the form of a scorecard. The scores are not the raw scores, but the NMAT 2019 score is the percentile scores of the candidates. GMAc sends the score of the candidates to the institutes that the candidates have chosen while filling the application form for admissions.
The special feature of NMAT 2019 result is that the candidates get a scorecard and the core of each of the attempt is updated on the same scorecard. The candidates can check the updates after their exam and as per schedule by logging into their NMAT 2019 dashboard.
Final Scorecard: The final scorecard of NMAT 2019 has scaled score for each section, a total score as well as a percentile ranking. Below is the range of scaled scores that is possible for each section of NMAT 2019.

What is Scaled and Percentile Score of NMAT 2019?
The candidates must be aware of the scaled and percentile scores of NMAT. The definition of both is given below:
Scaled scores: This is the score which is equated to account for any differences in overall difficulty. Such a process ensures that scores are comparable and not affected by different candidates getting the different question papers.
Final Percentile Scores: Final percentile score shows how many students among the total number of candidates have scored marks less than you. This score is sent to the participating institutes to start the further round of selection process.

Selection Process After NMAT 2019 Result
The selection process after the NMAT result depends on the institutes in which the candidates is taking admission. After NMAT the scores of the exam is sent to the institutes. Thereafter the candidates have to check their selection status in the institutes.
