Odisha +3 Admission 2020 Merit List
Admission into various Streams, Colleges & Honours shall be done strictly based on merit. Odisha +3 Merit list is prepared based on the marks secured at the Higher Secondary (+2) Examination out of the Total Marks, Weightage & Reservation. In the case of a candidate passing from ICSE , CBSE and other Boards, then the marks will be compute for the merit list by following formula:
Percentage calculation = (X * 600)/ Y
Where X= Total marks secured(There will be no selection of best 4 or best 5)
Y = Total full marks
Tie-breaking – If there are two or more candidates opted same college and one stream (Honours/Pass) and have same marks in +2 Council Examination, then merit list will be prepared on the basis of the mentioned below criteria :
- For Arts/Commerce
- then who has more marks in English will get preference.
- In the case of tie continues, marks in Modern Indian Languages (MIL) will determine the selection
- For Science
- For Science Stream, English/Chemistry marks will be deciding factors in a similar sequence.

Odisha +3 Admission Process 2020
Selected applicants have to pay the admission online by login to her/his student login. After successful payment, candidates can take the printout of the Intimation Letter. Applicant has to produce all original documents for verification only at Destination College. No original is to be deposited with college authority; however, a set of photocopy of all the documents with self-attestation must be submitted at the time of admission.
S/he has to submit three-color passport size photographs at the time of admission. After successful admission, if a student wants to participate in the slide-up process, then s/he has to log in to the SAMS account to submit her/his consent within the specified timeline. If a student does not confirm by login to the registered account, s/he will not be considered for a slide up to a higher option and remain in the option allotted in the earlier selection process. He or She will not be allowed to remain in the lower choice College, after being selected in the slide-up process.
Documents & Certificate to be submit at the time of Verification process:
Candidates have to submit the self-attested photo copies of the following documents / certificates with the College Copy of the Common Application Form (CAF) :
- Higher Secondary (+2) Mark Sheets-cum-Provisional Certificate (or equivalent Board).
- College/School Leaving& Conduct certificates from the educational institution last attended.
- Schedule Tribe / Schedule Caste certificates
- PwD certificate from CDMO/SDMO/CMO of any District HQ Hospital, Capital Hospital (in case of
Bhubaneswar). - Ex-Service Man certificate from Zilla Sainik Board
- Service Defense Personnel-SDP (Army/Navy/Air Force) Certificate from the Commanding Officer
of the unit - Children of Martyrs (CoM) certificate from the District Collector

Odisha +3 Admission 2020 Application Form
Eligible candidates applying for admission into the +3 degree course have to fill the common application form (CAF) on the SAMS portal. They have to fill maximum 20 options and minimum 05 options of colleges (College+Stream+Honours) and also have to provide required personal and academic information, choices of different colleges, and streams in order of preference and others. Lastly, pay the application fees On-Line to complete the application procedure.
