Online registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 will end tomorrow, on March 06, 2020. National Testing Agency (NTA) will close application window at 11:50 pm. UG engineering / architecture aspirants planning to pursue B.Tech / B.E / B.Arch / B.Plan, must apply for the exam without further delay. The forms for JEE Main are available online, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Those who have applied for the exam or will be applying, must ensure these 5 things to submit the form correctly.
5 important things to check before final submit of JEE Main 2020 application form
Every year, candidates make mistakes in the application form, due which admit card of JEE Main is not issued for them. Hence, to avoid such situation, candidates must ensure these 5 things before submitting the application form of JEE Main 2020.
#1. Ensure images in the form are correct
It is very important to make sure that the images in the application form of JEE Main 2020 are as per the specification. The correct specification for uploading the images are as follows:

#2. Payment is mandatory
Paying application fee for JEE Main 2020 is mandatory. The candidates should ensure that the application fee is paid properly. If the payment process got interrupted in between or if you did not receive message for the successful payment then contact the cornered authority and ensure that it is done.
The amount of JEE Main 2020 registration fee is as follows:

#3. Basic Details should be correct
At times, especially in haste, candidates enter incorrect details. Even basic details like name, date of birth, etc. are entered wrong. This causes trouble in the later stages. Hence, it is important to ensure that all the detail entered in the application form are correct.
- Enter name, date of birth, gender, etc. as per your class 10 and 12 certificates.
- Make sure e-mail id and phone number is either yours or of someone who lives near you.
#4. Information in JEE Main registration form, school certificate, and id card must match
To apply for JEE Main 2020, the candidates need to select one id proof. This id proof is to be carried on the exam day as well. The details in the registration form of JEE Main 2020, school certificate, and id proof must match. Else, it creates trouble at the time of counselling and admission. Hence, it is advised that candidates select that id proof in which details are as per school certificates.
#5. Select correct number of JEE Main papers
Last but not the least, while applying candidates should select all the papers of JEE Main for which they wish to appear. Now, JEE is held for following 3 papers:

How to do correction in JEE Main 2020 application form?
Despite precaution, there is always possibility for errors. NTA will open JEE Main April 2020 application form correction window on March 08, 2020. It will be available online, jeemain.nta.nic.in and application number and password / date of birth will be required to access it. Details that candidates can and cannot edit in the form shall be provided soon. The last date to do corrections is March 12, 2020.
About JEE Main 2020
National Testing Agency conducts JEE Main 2020 at a national level. The exam is conducted twice a year in the months of January and April. The candidates who have passed class 12 in 2018, 2019 or will pass the same in 2020 can appear for the exam.
The top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main 2020 are selected for JEE Advanced 2020 for B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Plan admission in the IITs. The rest of the students can apply for admission in CFTIs, NITs, IIITs via the JoSAA counselling. There are 3 papers in the exam, B.E / B.Tech paper, B.Arch paper, and B.Plan paper. All the 3 papers are held in CBT mode, except for the drawing section of the B.Arch paper.
