PAU 2020 Result
Result for PAU MET 2020 is released online on the official website, which is pau.edu. The result will not be the final round of selection of the candidate, after the declaration of result candidates who will have to attend the counselling round at the university.
PAU 2020 Admit Card
Admit card will be issued to candidates after successful submission of the application form. It is mandatory for candidates to get a printout of the to admit card and carry it to the examination center. Candidates without admit card will not be allowed to take the examination. The process to download the admit card that will be available online is explained below.

- Candidates who will submit the application form online will have to provide their date of birth and UID to generate their admit card.
- candidates who will submit the application form in offline mode will have to provide their date of birth and prospectus number to generate admit card.
- After downloading the admit card candidate must take a printout of the same.

Before proceding further in Application Process the candidate should check wherther they full fill the eligibility norms set by PAU. Below we have provided the eligibility criteria of some courses, candidates can check eligibility criteria of other courses from the brochure provided below.

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture – 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks in aggregate/ Two year
Diploma in Agriculture.
B.Tech (Food Technology) – 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks in aggregate/ Certificate
course in Food Processing and Preservation from SLIET, Longowal.
Diploma in Agriculture – Matric.
Agricultural Meteorology (Masters Programme) – B.Sc. Agri./B.Sc. Agri. (Hons)/ B.Sc. Forestry/ B.Sc. Hort.

PAU 2020 Application Procedure
Candidates can apply for AAT both through online as well as offline mode. The application form will be available at the official website of PUA that is pau.edu. The online application have to be filled in and submitted by the candidates along with the payment of application fee. For candidates who wish to fill in the application through offline mode have to download the form, fill it with all the authentic information and submit the application form.
PAU 2020 Exam Pattern
For Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT)
All the candidates who are willing to take up B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture from Punjab agriculture university will have to take Agriculture aptitude test. The process to apply for the test and all other important details are explained below for candidates. The test shall be of one and half hour duration comprising of 100 multiple choice questions each of one mark to be attempted on OMR sheet. Each correct answer will carry one mark whereas 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The medium of question paper will be both in English and Punjabi.
The question paper shall have four sections as under:
Section-I: Agriculture Aptitude: It will consist of 50 questions.
Section-II: General Science: It will consist of 30 questions.
Section-III: General English: It will consist of 10 questions.
Section-IV: Mathematics: It will consist of 10 questions.
For Common Entrance Test (CET)
The Common Entrance Test will be conducted for candidates who are willing to take admission in any of these: B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture 4-year, B.Tech. (Biotechnology) 4-year, B.Tech. (Food Technology) 4-years, B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science, B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science 4-year, B.Sc. (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics 4-year, 5-yr Integrated M.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology programmes
For PAU 2020 Master’s Entrance Test (MET)
The candidates who are willing to study or do master’s in Agricultural Meteorology, Agronomy, Entomology, Extension Education, Food Technology, Forestry, Horticulture (Floriculture & Landscaping), Horticulture (Fruit Science), Horticulture (Vegetable Science), Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Biotechnology, can take the aster’s entrance test. Admission in the Master’s Programme will be now made through the MET (Master’s Entrance Test) 2020.
PAU 2020 Counselling
For the counselling round, candidates will have to download a form that will be available on the official website after the declaration of result. The form has to be filled in with a pen by the candidates themselves. This form is to be brought to the counselling venue by the candidate as mentioned in the prospectus. The candidates who will be selected has to deposit the full fee at the time of counselling. The candidates will get the course as per seat availability. The candidates who appeared or are appearing in the qualifying examination can apply but they must produce original mark sheets of qualifying examination result at the time of counselling failing which their candidature will not be considered for counselling. Further, the admission will be subject to scrutinizing of original certificates at the time of counselling.

Also, there are three different examinations conducted by the university for admission to these courses. These entrance examinations are the main process of selection.
