Placement Record 2015-16
The placement cell aims at providing jobs to every student who intends to work after graduating. In the current session 2015-16 with the efforts of the placement team we have strived hard to achieve our goals. With an overwhelming response from the industry we have been able to place 340 students.
Apart from inviting companies to the college, we also held workshops and seminars to prepare our students for the recruitment drive. A lecture on ‘Do’s and Don’ts of GD and Frequently asked questions in PI’ by prof KK Srivastav was well attended.
Mr Krishnan from Ernst Young guided students in preparing their resume. The placement cell also invited alumini of the college to interact with the students and conducted mock GDs to remove fear and phobia of the candidates.
For enhancing entrepreneurship and self-employment skills among students the placement cell in collaboration with career counselling club organised a seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship as career option’. Senior consultant Dr H P Singh at NIESBUD was invited. He made students aware of various business options, government policies and loans available for the startups.
We have progressed not only in terms of number of placements but also the quality. With top corporate houses such as Ernst Young, RBS,British Telecom, Aon Hewitt, L & T,Genpact, ICICIPrudencial, IBM concentrix,AdviceAda, Limetray, Oberoi group visited our campus and offered decent pay packages. The success of our placement cell warrants a due credit to the students team that worked meticulously throughout the year. The placement cell of the college is in a continuous process of developing alliance with more and better potential recruiters. We wish and hope to achieve even greater success in future.
