NATFM BSNL PGDTTM 2020- The National Academy of Telecom Finance and Management (NATFM) offers the post graduation diploma in telecom technology & management, in collaboration with the University Hyderabad. The One Year POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN TELECOM TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (PGDTTM) is a two-semester course jointly offered by NATFM-BSNL and UoH, the two leading institutions the country on a distance learning mode. Admissions will be made strictly on the basis of merit, academic record, and professional experience wherever applicable. After receiving and scrutinizing the applications, the list of selected candidates will be prepared. Applicants are advised to write their name and mobile no. clearly on the envelop. List of Enclosures:
The following is the List of Enclosures (self-attested photocopies of certificates) to be submitted along with the Application for Registration/Admission which is based on the previous year information brochure , go through the given details for some basic idea & more clarifications.
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Matriculation (date of birth proof).
- Intermediate / Higher Secondary Education, 10 + 2
- Degree Marks Memo
- Degree Provisional / Final Certificate
- Postgraduate Degree Provisional Certificate and Marks Memo
- Experience Certificates from current or former employer
- 4 Photos ( Application 1, ID card 1, and put 2 photos inside an envelope)
- SC/ST/OBC (Latest) / PH Certificate from competent authority (wherever applicable)
- The certificates will be verified at the time of Contact Classes.
The eligibility criteria for the concerned admission are as follows which is as per the previous year information brochure, it will be updated once the official notification arrives.
- Has to be an Engineering graduate from any recognized university in ECE/EEE/EIE/ETC/ICT branches and other Engineering graduates with Electronics as one of the subjects; OR
- Needs to be an M.Sc. Electronics from a recognized university; OR
- Those who qualified AMIE from a recognized university
- Other Engineering or B.Sc. graduates with Electronics/Physics/Maths/Computer Science as one of the subjects from a recognised university with two years of experience in the field of telecommunications
- However, a Diploma in ECE/EEE is counted on par with two years of Experience
On payment of the programme fee, students will be informed of their enrolment number which will also be displayed on their enrolment cards. This enrolment number will continue for a maximum period of three years, or until the course is completed, whichever is earlier. The same number will be used as the examination roll number of the student.
Enrolment Card and Study material
On receipt of the programme fee, enrolment cards indicating the students’ name, enrolment no., date of birth and date of admission will be issued. Both the soft & hard copies of the materials will be sent to the enrolled student by post. If the student avails only soft copy & does not request for the hard copy of the material, an amount of Rs. 2000/- only will be reduced from the total fee.

The evaluation system is designed to test the student’s progress systematically through internal assessment as well as semester end examinations. Internal assessment for 30% of total marks will be through assignments and 10 % for contact classes. Performance of students will also be assessed through a term-end examination with 60% of total marks at the end of each semester. A student is declared passed only if he/she secures a minimum of 40% marks overall in each course subject to a minimum of 24 marks at the term-end examinations.
The final results for the Programme are determined on the basis of the following points which are based as per the previous year information brochure & it will be updated once the official notification arrives.
- contact classes.
- internal assessment (Assignments), and.
- performance in the Semester – end examination, in the ratio 10:30:60.
The final result in each course will thus be calculated as given below:

Note: Candidates who will not submit assignments and not attended contact sessions will not be permitted to appear for the examination.
The candidates selected for admission will be intimated by post/email and also published on the Academy’s website natfm.bsnl.co.in. The said list will also be displayed on the notice board at the Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning campus and UoH.
Student at the time of admission will have to fill in the acceptance form and send the same along with the Demand Draft/details of online payment to the Dy. General Manager (BD), O/o Chief General Manager, National Academy of Telecom Finance and Management, RTTC Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500 032, before the last date, stipulated for this purpose. Only those, who will pay the fees within the stipulated date, will be treated as admitted. Mere receipt of admission offer letter does not entitle any right to claim admission.
Students will be admitted to this Post Graduate Diploma Programme will have to pay the fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty thousand only) in two equal installments by the prescribed date mentioned in the admission offer letter. Sponsoring organizations will have to deposit full fees at the time of registration of their candidates. The foreign students will have to pay the prescribed fee of US $1000 for SAARC countries and the US $1400 for other countries in two installments.
