PU CET 2019- Panjab University conducts Common Entrance Test (PU CET) for Undergraduate Programmes. PU CET 2019 is an University level entrance examination. PU CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
It is rather important to match with the Eligibility Requirements in order to take admission into particular course. Candidates will have to go through the rules and regulations set by the governing authority in order to apply for PU CET 2019. PU CET 2019 Application Form
PU CET 2019 Application Form will be made available online. Candidates will be required to visit the official website of Panjab University. The candidates will have to first register themselves before the lapse of the deadline. After the registration process is over, candidates will be able to PU CET 2019 Application Form. Candidates will have to enter the asked details such as personal details, communication details and academic qualification details. Candidates will have to upload the scanned image of photograph and signature too in a proper format set by the governing authority.
Application Fee: Candidates will be required to pay the Application Fee by using Bank Challan. However, candidates must note that the amount given below is based on last year’s information data and the governing authority might change the amount of the Application Fee. Until then, candidates can check the information about Application Fee mentioned below so as to have a rough idea about the application fee:
- If candidates belong to the General Category (PCB / PCM / M) they will be required to pay Rs. 2100.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD Category (PCB / PCM / M) will be required to pay Rs. 1050.
- If candidates opt for the Additional Paper, Biology or Mathematics, they will be required to pay Rs. 300.
PU CET 2019 Admit Card
The admit card for PU CET 2019 will be made available online. Candidates will have to visit the official website of Panjab University in order to download PU CET 2019 Admit Card. Candidates will have to be ready with their Login Credentials so as to attain the admit card. PU CET 2019 Admit Card is a crucial document which has to be carried positively at the time of examination. It will be consisting of information like name and address of the candidate, date and time of the examination, complete address of the test centre, photograph and signature of the candidate. It should be kept in mind that PU CET 2019 Admit Card will have to be carried along with a valid ID Proof which can be either of following documents Aadhar Card / Passport / Voter’s ID / Driving License / PAN Card/ Any other Govt. ID Proof.
PU CET 2019 Test Centre
There is only 1 test centre for PU CET 2019 which is Chandigarh. However, candidates must note that this is the information of last year. So, the governing authority might change the test centre or add new test centres as per its wish.
PU CET 2019 Syllabus
Candidates will have to study as per the CBSE Syllabus of Class 11th and Class 12th. PU CET 2019 will be comprising of questions from the topics covered from the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology.
PU CET 2019 Exam Pattern
It is rather an important thing for the candidates to be aware of the the exam pattern as it will them to prepare in a more nuanced way as they will be knowing about weightage of marks and which section carries more marks so forth and so on. Important Information: Candidates will have to keep in mind that they are required to choose a suitable combination of subjects depending on their choices of the courses and subjects they have studied in class 12th. They can select the combination from PCB / PCM / M.
PU CET 2019 Result
Candidates can check PU CET 2019 Result by going over the official website of Panjab University. Candidates will be required to enter their Login Credentials namely their Username and Password. A merit list will also be released after the declaration of results. However, candidates must note that just after the declaration of results, candidates will have to fill the Admission Form before the release of the PU CET 2019 Merit List.
After the release of the merit list, candidates have to sit for the Online Counselling Rounds. There will number of counselling rounds as per the availability of seats in a particular course. There will be different round for Physical Counselling too. It is to be noted that the Admission Form must not be confused with the Application Form and have to be filled separately at different point of time.
