Candidates seeking admission in Pune University can apply online from the official website www.unipune.ac.in. Admission will be based on Entrance Test. The entrance test will be held as per the expected schedule mentioned below:

Those who will successfully apply and make the fee payment will be eligible to download the admit card. Admit card is an essential document to be taken care of. Candidates must download the admit card on the date announced officially and take to the exam center on the day of examination. Candidates can download the admit card 5 days before the entrance test.
Mode of Entrance Test: Online
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Total Marks: 100 Marks
Negative Marking: For every wrong answer 1/3 mark will be deducted.
The online entrance test will be consist of 2 sections:
|Section-A||General Knowledge / Aptitude / Logic / Comprehension||20 Marks|
|Section-B||Subject-specific Questions||80 Marks|
The result of the entrance test will be released in the form of merit list. Merit list of the candidates will be based on the total score of the entrance test conducted for the admission. The result will be available at the official website of the University. No separate certificate of the result will be issued by the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Candidates will be admitted to the offered courses on the basis of the merit in the entrance examination. Admission for various Post-Graduate/Graduate/Integrated/Interdisciplinary courses will be as per the provision of Ordinance 181-A amended, University Order.
Reservation in the admission of students to various Diploma & Certificate courses shall be as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time including reservation for the person with disabilities/Orphan and Defence Personnel’s Child/Ex-Service Child.
30% seats are reserved for female candidates for Under Graduate courses as per Government of Maharashtra Rules. Reservation for SBC category as per Government of Maharashtra rules.
