REAP 2019 Seat Allotment: The Rajasthan Technical University starts the seat allotment process online on its official website. REAP 2019 Allotment/Counseling Process

The seat allotment or counselling process will ensure candidates that he/she will get the desired college and course:

  • Allotment of seats will be based on the basis of merit list.
  • The candidate has to fill the choice of subject and college wise options.
  • The allotment of the institute and branch will be carried out through computer software.
  • Allotment list will be released on the choice-cum merit basis as per the candidate choice.

REAP 2019 Seat Allotment Rounds

The allotment of the seats for REAP 2019 will be done through three round of counselling followed by the one special round. The rounds are listed below and explained further for the ease of candidates:

  • Round 1 (Out of Rajasthan, Ex. Serviceman, PWD, KM candidates only)
  • Round 2 (Rajasthan State Candidates)
  • Round 3 (Upward Movement)
  • Special Round (carried out at Institute Level)

Round 1: Out of Rajasthan, Ex. Serviceman, PWD, KM candidates only

The very first round of counselling conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University will be conducted for the candidate outside of the Rajasthan state, ex-serviceman, PWD and KM. After the first round, a tentative merit list will be released by the university. The candidate can make the objection regarding the merit list if the allotment is not as per the choice. The final merit list of round 1 will release in the second week of July 2019. The candidate must appear for the allotment to the allotted institute in person.

Round 2: Rajasthan State Candidates

The second round of counselling or alotment of seats will be for the Rajasthan state candidates. Only those candidates who have a domicile of Rajasthan will attend this process and will be allotted seats.The second round seat allotment will commence in the second week of July 2019.

Round 3: Upward Movement

Round 3 will be for Upward Movement that is for the candidate of Rajasthan. Candidate can apply for this round in the last week of July 2019 by visiting the REAP 2019 official website.

Who can appear

  • Candidate exhausted their choice in the earlier round of allotment
  • Reported to the allotted institute but selected for the Upward Movement

Note: The candidate who did not report to the allotted institute are not eligible for this round.

Special Round:  carried out at Institute Level

The special round will be held for the vacant seats. The candidate out of Rajasthan can apply for this round. This round will be held at the institution level. Candidates have to pay Rs.700 (non-refundable/adjustable)to participate in special round.

Eligibility for Special Round

As the special round will be conducted on Institue level there are a few eligibility norms for candidates.  Candidate willing to participate in the special round can check the eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidate should not have made any choice/option during the earlier registration
  • Candidate allocated a seat can participate in this round by withdrawing their admission through the last reporting institute till notified date.
  • The candidate who was not allotted seats in the main round due to choice exhausted may give their consent.

Priority sequence for the merit list of Special Round

The merit list that will be prepared by the university will be on a priority basis. candidates, therefore, are advised to check the priority list below and apply accordingly.

  • 1st priority: JEE Main rank of Rajasthan state candidate
  • 2nd priority: 12th Marks/Percentile of Rajasthan state candidate
  • 3rd priority: JEE Main rank of other state candidates
  • 4th priority: 12th Marks/ Percentile of other state candidates
  • 5th priority: SAARC country candidates

REAP 2019 Withdrawal from Allotment Process

In order to withdraw their name from the seat allotment candidates will have to report to the institute they have last reported. They will further need to surrender the allotment letter with cancellation application by the month of July 2019. To check the status of their withdrawal candidate can log in and check the status displayed as “Admission withdraw on request of the candidate”.

REAP 2019 Counselling

As per the merit list prepared by the university the counselling round will be conducted. There will be three counselling round hosted in the month of July 2019 and a special round on institute basis as per vacant seats will be held in the month of August 2019.

In the first round, seats will be allotted to the candidate of other states on the basis of merit list. In the second round, seats will be allotted to the candidate of Rajasthan state. In the third round (upward movement), for Rajasthan candidate who had exhausted their choice in the earlier round and those who appeared in the allotted institute and opt for the upward movement.

Note: A separate instruction/guidelines will be provided to the candidate through the newspaper, website in case of any other mode of counselling.

Documents required during counselling

The candidate has to carry the below-mentioned document at the time of counselling to the allotted institute. Make sure to carry the original documents to be verified along with a copy of each.

  • Application cum registration form with recent colour photograph paste on it and additional photograph.
  • Printout of the seat allotted letter from the REAP 2019 website.
  • JEE Mains valid score card.
  • Class 10th Board certificate
  • Mark sheet/ consolidated grade of qualifying exam (class 12)
  • Category certificate (BOC/ST/SC/SBC) issued by the component authority.
  • PwD certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Total fees
