Applications are invited from the candidates belonging to the States of Northern Region, viz., Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh (UT) for admission to the following courses:

• Two Year B.Ed. (Secondary)
• M.Ed. (Elementary Education)

Filled in application Forms alongwith all the required documents including Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs.300/-(GEN & OBC) and Rs.200/- (SC,ST&PH) in favour of Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer payable at Ajmer should reach the Administrative Officer, Regional Institute of Education, Capt. D. P .Chaudhary Marg, Ajmer – 305004 on before the last date. Application Fee is not refundable in any case.

The Institute remains closed on Saturday, Sunday & other holidays.

Instruction for the Candidates

Candidates are advised to read carefully the rules and regulations given in the Information Brochure and ensure their eligibility for admission to the programme before applying.

Applications received only on prescribed Forms for the current session (2015-16) will be accepted.

Incomplete application and application received after the closing date and time will not be entertained.

No mark-sheet or any other document will be accepted after the last date and time for the receipt of application.

The admission in this Institute is restricted to the candidates belonging to the UT. & States of the Northern Region comprising Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

The decision of the Institute regarding admission shall be final and binding on the candidates.

Any dispute related to admission shall be under the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Ajmer City only.

Number of Seats: 50 (One seat is reserved for physically handicapped candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PH Candidates) in the following programmes/courses from any University/College/institute recognized by MDS University, Ajmer:
l. B.Ed.
2. BA. B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed.
3. B.El.Ed.
4. D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree in Arts/Science (with 50% marks in each).

Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD (PH) (Persons with Disability/ Physically Handicapped) and other applicable categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed Three Year Degree Course with 50% marks in the aggregate at Graduation level, relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PH candidates. Graduates with Two Year Degree course are not eligible.
