Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the cut off marks list for RRB ALP/Technician 2018 of 1st stage examination. RRB has announced two cutoffs regarding the recruitment for the post of RRB ALP/ Technician 2018. One is regarding the minimum qualifying marks and the second one is related to the normalized marks (that is used to make the merit list). Candidates should also note here that the selection process for RRB ALP/Technician will be based on two stages i.e, First Stage CBT and Second Stage CBT and cutoffs for both the stages will be separate. In order to get selected, candidates will have to clear both the stages and come in their merits too. RRB ALP and Technician Vacancies of 2018
As there are two stages of the RRB Examination common for ALP and Technicians, the RRB ALP Cut Off will be declared by the stages of Examination separately. RRB ALP and Technician Stage 1 Examination Cut Off
The Candidates of each category have to acquire the minimum percentage as per the cut-off. The score of Stage 1 Examination will help in shortlisting of candidates passed for Stage 2 Examination by their merit list. Minimum Percentage for the candidates of each category is given below:

NOTE: 2% of relaxation for PWD candidates may be given in case of shortage in PWD candidates vacancies.
RRB ALP and Technician Stage 2 Examination Cut Off
The shorting of candidates for Stage 2 Examination for RRB ALP will be done from the marks obtained by the candidates appeared in the Examination. Candidates are required to reach the score of Stage 1 Examination to appear in the Stage 2 Examination. The Stage 2 Examination will consist of 2 parts, Part A and Part B.
Number of Questions in Part A: 100
Time Duration for Part A: 90 min
Number of Questions in Part B: 75
Time Duration for Part B: 60 min
Note: The intended candidates are required to possess the following percentage based on categories to qualify the Stage 2 Examination:

For the further stages of the recruitment process, the marks obtained in Stage 2 Part A Examination will be considered. Part B is qualifying in nature. Candidates are required to obtain 35% to qualify the Stage 2 Part B examination. Candidates will require to qualify each examination test for considering them for ALP post.
