You can calculate your marks scored in RRB JE second stage computer based test using the final answer key released by Railway Recruitment Board. To do that, you should know the exam pattern, marking scheme, and answer key.

Marking scheme of RRB JE CBT 2 is as follows

• You get +1 for correct answer
• ⅓ is deducted as negative marking for incorrect answer

Scoring formula is therefore as follows.

Marks scored in RRB JE CBT 2 = Number of correct answers * 1 – number of incorrect answers * ⅓.

How to check RRB JE CBT 2 Result?

There are two things you – check scorecard, check result. Scorecard will tell you your marks. Result will tell you whether you have qualified for document verification or not. Here are steps for both.

Steps to check result

1st step. Go to any of the official websites of Railway Recruitment Boards. The direct links are given above. 

2nd step. Click on the link to check result. You will be able to see the link only if that RRB has published result. Immediately a pdf file containing roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will download or open.

3rd step. Check for your roll number in the result file. 

Steps to download scorecard

1st step. Go to rrbonline.reg.in. 

2nd step. Click on the link to download scorecard. You will see this link only if you are going to the website in that window when scorecard download is available. 

3rd step. Login with registration number and date of birth. Immediately, your scorecard appears on screen.

How to check result if forgot roll number or registration number?

Forgot Roll Number:- If you have forgotten your roll number, then the only thing you can do is check your admit card. Link to download admit card is not available anymore. However, when you login to download your scorecard, you may see admit card link. 

Forgot Registration Number:- If you have forgotten registration number, then you have to do as given in the following steps.

• Go to rrbonlinereg.in.
• Click forgot registration number.
• Select any one option in fetch based on: name and date of birth, email id and date of birth. 
• If you select name and date of birth, then enter your registered name, registered mother’s name, registered date of birth.
• Otherwise if you selected email and date of birth then enter registered email id, registered mobile number, and registered date of birth. 
• Immediately, you will get your registration number.

Selection Process of RRB Junior Engineer (CEN 03/2018) Recruitment

Following are the steps in selection of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in Indian Railways:

• First stage computer based test 
• Second stage computer based test 
• Document verification

First stage computer based test is screening / qualifying in nature. Its marks will not be counted for merit. 

Second stage computer based test normalized marks will be used to shortlist candidates for document verification. Number of candidates equal to the number of vacancies are are called for DV on the basis of their merit in second stage CBT, and options. In addition, a standby list with number of candidates equal to 50% of vacancies are also called. They are only considered if there is a shortfall for empanelment from the main list. 

Tie breaking

• If two or more candidates have same normalized marks in CBT 2, then the tie is broken by giving higher rank to the one older in age.
• If tie persists then alphabetical order of name (a-z) will be used to break the tie.

After RRB JE CBT 2 Result – Document Verification

With the second stage CBT results announced, all that is left is the document verification and empanelment. As the name suggests, in document verification, candidates simply have to bring their documents and show it to the authorities.

9. Original discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen.
10. Medical Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Annexures –V(A),V(B),V(C) as applicable
11. Self declaration for Ex-servicemen as per Annexure -VI
12. NOC from serving employees with date of appointment.
13. NOC from Serving Defence Personnel with probable date of discharge.
14. Gazette notification and/or any Legal document in case of formal change of name as mentioned in Para 1.7.
15. Receipt of payment if made through a Challan at SBI branch or Pay-in-slip at computerized Post Office.
16. Self Certification by the Transgender candidates
17. J & K domicile certificate.
18. Certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India, as per para 4(f) 17.4.18 Decree of divorce/judicial separation from the competent Court of Law as applicable and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried.
19. Death Certificate in case of widow and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried.
20. Ex-Servicemen candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this CEN should give self declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against this CEN, as soon as they join. The acknowledged copy of this declaration along with NOC from the civil employer should be produced during DV.

Railway RRB JE CBT 2 Modified / Revised Answer Key 2019

Railway Recruitment Boards released the revised answer key of RRB JE second stage computer based test as per above schedule. Candidates could login to view the new answers, which are final, at rrbonlinereg.in. Those answers were final. No further changes will be done to the answers. RRBs have changed a few answers in the revised key. However following types of answers have been ignored:

• Ambiguous answers
• Multiple answers
• No key
