RRB Mumbai NTPC Result 2021-2022 Important Dates

RRB NTPC Mumbai 2021 results are yet to be announced. Those students who have appeared in the exam are eagerly waiting for their result. The Railway Recruitment Board is planning to release the result as they have completed the exam in 7 phases. This exam is held from 28 December to 31 July. After the announcement of the result,  the Railway Recruitment Board will release a cut off which will be different for different sections of categories. This cutoff will be the basis for finding how many students are qualified for CBT 2nd stage.

RRB MUMBAI NTPC 2021 Selection Process

In this section, you will get details about the selection process of the RRB Mumbai NTPC 2021

• Filling the online application form

Firstly, a candidate needs to fill the online application form by mentioning personal details, educational qualification, post preferences and lastly paying the exam fee

• RRB NTPC CBT 1st Stage

RRB CBT 1st stage has the same pattern for the post and region. CBT 1st stage is an online computer based exam and lasts for 90 minutes. The question paper is divided into Mathematics, Reasoning and General awareness. After the release of the result, qualified students will be called for CBT 2nd stage.

• RRB NTPC CBT 2nd Stage

After qualifying RRB NTPC CBT 1st Stage, students have to appear for CBT 2nd Stage. In this stage, students selected are approximately 20 times the number of vacancies. The exam is of 90 minutes and the question paper is again divided into three sections namely Mathematics, Reasoning and General awareness. Those candidates who clear this stage will be called for a skill test / CBAT.

• RRB NTPC Skill Test/ CBAT

Those candidates whose post preference are Station Master and Traffic Assistant, have to appear for CBAT while those who chose Junior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper have to appear for a typing skill test. The shortlisting for CBAT and typing skill test is done eight times the number of vacancies based on the merit of second stage CBT.

The number of candidates qualified for CBAT and typing skill tests is 8 times the number of total vacancies published.

•  RRB NTPC Document Verification

Those candidates who have cleared the CBAT and typing test are then called for document verification. This document verification is done according to the merit list as well as the number of vacancies available. After this students are called for a medical fitness test.

• RRB NTPC Medical Fitness Test

After document verification, the qualified students are called for a medical fitness test. It is mandatory to qualify for the medical fitness test as this is the basis for their physical qualification for the required post.

RRB Mumbai NTPC 1st Stage CBT Result 2021-2022

Railway Recruitment Board has conducted NTPC exam in 7 phases. Now it’s time to release the CBT 1st Stage result. This exam is only qualifying in nature and after being selected they will be called for CBT 2nd Stage.

RRB Mumbai NTPC 2nd Stage CBT result 2021/2022

After the announcement of RRB Mumbai NTPC 1st stage CBT result, qualified students will be called for CBT 2nd stage. The format of the question paper and exam duration remains the same for CBT 2nd stage. This stage of the exam is also qualifying in nature and further selected students will be called for a skill test. The approximate number of students qualified in this stage is around 20 times the number of vacancies.

RRB Mumbai NTPC Skill Test Result 2021 / 2022

Those candidates who efficiently pass the 2nd stage CBT, will now go through a skill test. For the post of Station Master and Traffic Assistant, CBAT (computer based aptitude test) will be held. The merit list for these two posts will be based on 70% of marks obtained in 2nd stage CBT and 30% of marks scored in CBAT.

For the rest of the posts like Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assitant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Time Keeper, a skill test will be held. In this skill test, the aspirant should have a speed of 30 words per minute in English and for Hindi speed should be 25 words per minute. The number of students called for the Skill test will be around 8 times the vacancy.

RRB Mumbai NTPC Final Result 2021 / 2022 after DV

On the basis of the performance in 2nd stage CBT, CBAT / TST (as applicable), the document verification will be held for the candidates equal to the number of vacancies. Also, candidates equal to 50% of the number of vacancy for various posts shall also be called for DV. After document verification, the selected students have to pass a basic medical fitness test. In this test, the physical fitness of the candidate will be checked according to the post. Thereafter, the students will be awarded with the joining letter.
