As a crucial update to the RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019) recruitment, candidates are informed that Railway Recruitment Boards have published a fresh tender notice to hire an exam conducting agency (ECA). Bids will be accepted until April 16, 2020. Hence it is now anticipated that the RRB NTPC exam date will be after April, either in May or June, depending upon how long the board now takes to finalize the agency. It could be even later, but extremely small chances of the exam being conducted or admit card being released in March or April now…
First RRB NTPC Official Update In A Long Time!
After a long time finally there is some official update on India’s largest recruitment process.
Today, on March 2, RRBs released these two tender notices. One for RRB NTPC CEN 01/2019, and another for RRB Ministerial CEN 03/2019.
Last date for submission of queries is March 12. The pre-bid conference is scheduled thereafter on March 24. Then the responses and clarifications will be published on April 7. Thereupon the deadline for accepting bids through e-tender is April 16, 2 pm. And finally the technical bids received will be opened on the same day, at 3 pm.
Since the bids are being accepted until April-mid, there are very few chances of exam being in April. It is now expected that the RRB NTPC exam date will be in May or after that!
But what cannot exam date be announced before finalizing ECA?
There is no official statement which says that RRBs will not announce exam date, or release application status, or issue admit card before finalizing an exam conducting agency.
However, logically, a lot of things will depend upon the new agency.
For example, the ECA will already know that 1,26,30,885 candidates have registered for the exam. So they will have to identify centers, see how many candidates can be accommodated on each day in each center. Then as per it they will see how many days should be the exam date. And so on.
Each of these exam related activities are interlinked. Hence it is assumed that only when ECA is finalized, the exam date will be anounced.
RRB NTPC Application Status Will Be Released First
All the RRBs will first issue application status. It is not clear whether application status will be released before deciding the exam conducting agency or not. Hence, candidates can stay tuned to the official websites to see the same.
Railway Recruitment Boards have undertaken this massive recruitment drive for 35,208 vacancies. The notification CEN 01/2019 was released one year ago. Candidates have been getting restless about the non-declaration of exam dates. Now finally, there is some sliver of hope for all.
Candidates can double their focus on preparations, as now exam date will not be far away.
