RTU CAM Admission Process 2020
The application process for CAM 2020 is completely online. After registration, the candidates will have to pay the application fee and enter the transaction Id to be able to fill the application form. How to Apply for RTU CAM Admission 2020
All the candidates whether having a valid GATE score or not but fulfilling the eligibility qualification can apply. The application form will only be considered complete on successful completion of all the steps as follows.
Step 1 Online Registration: To register you have to visit the link provided in this page. For registration, you will have to fill the required details as follows.
- Name of the candidate
- Mother’s Name
- Father’s name
- Date of birth
- Mobile no.
A challan no. will be generated which is used for the application form fee payment which a candidate has to keep safe
Step 2 Payment: The next thing is to make the payment through online mode. The payment is important to do because for filling the later stage application form candidate have to enter transaction Id. Without it, the details cannot be filled further in the application form. The payment can be done through billdesk gateway facility using any of the payment methods such as debit card, credit card, etc.
Step 3 Filling of application form: In order to activate the online application form for entering the required details, the candidate must enter his/her transaction ID in the appropriate column of the application form. The candidate will be allowed to fill the application form with their personal and academic details as per the requirements. The required details to be filled are Personal details, Address for correspondence, Educational qualifications details, GATE score details, etc.
Step 4 Uploading the documents and online choice filling: The candidates will now have to upload the scanned images in the prescribed format. The scanned images to be uploaded is as follows.
- Valid GATE score card
- Mark Sheet of B.E / B.Tech or mark sheet of last qualifying examination.
Now the choice filling will be done in the order of preference of the candidate. They can fill as many number of choices as they wish from the list of available programs. There is no maximum limit for filling the choices. It is advised that candidates should fill the maximum number of choices so that “No Allotment” condition due to choice exhausted would not arise.
The candidate will have to pay the fees through online mode through Billdesk gateway facility. The payment method to be used can be credit card, debit card, net banking, other online payment gateways. The application fee for different categories is as follows.

Eligibility Criteria for RTU CAM Admission Process 2020
The candidates having B.Tech / B.E degree are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing in qualifying degree examinations in the academic session 2020-21 and possessing valid GATE score card need to submit the marks sheet of qualifying degree examination at the time of reporting to the allotted institute positively, failing which their candidature shall be canceled. - A candidate must hold B.E./B.Tech. degree in appropriate discipline from RTU or any other recognized University/Institution or any other examinations recognized as equivalent thereto by competent authority.
- Candidate must have minimum 55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) marks in the qualifying degree examination (50% or 5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale of relaxation is admissible for SC/ST candidates). If a recognized university has an approved conversion formula of CGPA into percentage then it will be applicable on producing the certificate of conversion
RTU CAM 2020 Application Form Correction
The changes in the application form shall only be made until the final submission of the form is not done. Web page may not accept any changes after final submission of online application form i.e. after pressing the “Submit” button on the web portal. Therefore, the candidates are advised to click the “Submit” button only and only if he/she is sure that the data entered in the online application form is correct and no further changes are required. However, the changes in the choice filling shall be made until the last date of submission of the application form. After the last date, the choices already filled will automatically be locked and submitted.
RTU CAM 2020 Admission Procedure
All candidates (whether having a valid GATE score or not having a valid GATE score but, fulfilling the eligible qualification as given above) are required to complete all the stages of admission process given below. Candidates can follow the below given steps for the admission into RTU CAM 2020.

RTU CAM 2020 Choice Filling
Candidates can fill in as many numbers of choices in the order of preference as they wish from the list of available programmes. There is no maximum limit for filling the choices. It is advised that candidates should fill maximum number of choices so that “No Allotment” condition due to choice exhausted would not arise. Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices,
delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before the last date otherwise choices will be automatically locked after the last date.
RTU CAM 2020 Seat Allotment
Rajasthan Technical University shall release the allotment letter for the candidates. Candidates can download the letter for future references. Only the eligible candidates, as per CAM- 2020 rules will be considered for seat allotment and subsequent admission. As per the tentative schedule, the choices submitted by the candidates will be processed centrally and seats will be allotted in the order of merit (as per the rules of merit) on the basis of the locked choices. The allotment of institute and specialization to the candidate will be carried out through the computer software by strictly following the order of merit, seats available and the order of options filled by the candidate
