SASTRA University B.Tech/ M.Tech (5-Year Integrated) Admission 2020
Admission to the B.Tech/5 year Integrated M.Tech programmes is conducted under 2 streams. For one stream, admission is provided using combined merit in JEE Main 2020 and Class 12th, while for the other stream are provided only on the basis of Class 12th marks. All the candidates are considered eligible for both the streams and hence, do not need to submit separate application forms.

Application Form for SASTRA University B.Tech/ M.Tech (Integrated) Admission 2020
The eligible candidates can apply for admission either in offline mode or online mode. For offline mode of application, the form can be downloaded from the official website of the University, i.e, sastra.edu, filled and sent to the University along with DD of application fee. For online application, the candidates have to register first, followed by login, filling in the application form and paying the application fee amount.
Application Fee: Rs 650
For offline mode of application, candidates need to enclose a Demand Draft of the fee amount, along with the form. This DD must be drawn in favour of “SASTRA Deemed to be University”, payable at Thanjavur.
Eligibility Criteria for SASTRA University B.Tech/ M.Tech (Integrated) Admission 2020
Applicants must ensure to establish their eligibility for the admission before filling in the online/offline application form.
Age- The maximum allowed age for application is 19 years, as on July 01, 2020.
- Candidates must have passed class 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/BioTechnology/Computer Science/Biology.
- A minimum of 60% aggregate marks must be secured in Maths, Physics and Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.

Rank list for SASTRA University Admission 2020 is released on the official website of the University as per schedule. Candidates can check the same from the official website i.e, sastra.edu or using the direct link that is provided on this page after the rank list is published. Based on the ranking, candidates are called for the counselling process. The candidates must attend the counselling at the notified venue, date and time.
Admission Procedure for SASTRA University B.Tech/ M.Tech (Integrated) Admission 2020
Admission to these programmes are conducted under the following 2 streams:
Stream 1 (based on JEE Main 2020 and class 12 marks) – 70% seats are filled up using the score in Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2020 and normalized marks in class 12th. The ranking of the candidates is prepared based on the combined scores of both of these. The weightage assigned to both of these is as follows:

Following method is adopted to assign seats under Stream 1:
- 20% (10%+10%) of the total intake is offered to the students from Trichy & Thanjavur, provided that the applicant has completed both class 10 and 12 from a school located in Trichy or Thanjavur.
- 30% of the intake is offered to those who complete 10th and 12th in schools lying within Tamil Nadu, including Puducherry.
- Remaining 50% seats are for students who have completed 10th and 12th from schools located outside Tamil Nadu.
Stream 2 (based on Class 12 marks) – 30% seats are filled up using the normalized marks of class 12th. Methodology adopted for granting seats is similar to Stream 1.
