Saurashtra University PG Medical Result 2017 – On the basis of the data provided by the candidates as to their respective NEET PG 2017 Result a merit list is drawn thereof and will be indicated and accordingly. Candidates will be called for counselling in order of merit and can exercise their respective choice of subject according to merit and availability of seats.
The Selection will be made entirely on the basis of merit of the NEET PG 2017 and the subject choice will be given on the basis of merit.

Merit lists is prepared on the basis of only NEET-PG 2016-2017 entrance examination marks.
In service M.O. merit list is prepared by entrance exam (50% marks OF NEET-PG)and government of Gujarat marks (50% marks).

Inter SE-Merit
Determination of inter-se-merit of candidates obtaining equal merit number in case of two or more candidates obtaining equal merit number, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as under
- Candidate’s higher marks in undergraduate examination
- According to age, older will get preference over younger.
- Last option Committee will decided
A candidate having objection to the merit list may submit it in writing to the admission committee within 72 hours of publication of Merit List to office of The PGTR Section, Saurashtra University Rajkot-360005 in person. The admission committee will duly consider the objection and decide the case, If, candidate is not satisfied, he may make written appeal to the Vice-Chancellor, whose decision shall be final.
The selected and admitted candidate will have to join within stipulated time limit decided by the “Admission Committee” If he fails to do so as well as if he leaves before completion of the course, he will lose his admission (and registration) and will not be eligible to apply in future.
