Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018 Exam Pattern

Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018 will be held in the 1st week of May 2018 by the Symbiosis International University (SIU). This written test will be conducted at the various Symbiosis Institutes and each institute will be having its own selection process. Candidates, who will apply for Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018, need to follow the exam pattern before appearing for the final test. All the information regarding the exam pattern will be provided on the official website i.e. www.set-test.org.

The entrance test will consist of 5 question papers such as General, Design, Law, Engineering and Health Science. The test will be conducted in two sessions; one will be in morning and the other in afternoon. A candidate will be allowed to take more than one paper. However, the candidate will have to choose one paper in morning session and one in the afternoon session.

Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018 Structure

The candidates, who will appear for the test, will have to go through the test structure given below:

Common Points for all the 5 papers

Duration of the Test – The duration of the test will be of 150 minutes and no extra time will be given to the candidates who will report late at the test.

Question Type – The test will be an aptitude test and the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions with four answer options for all the papers. There will be no negative marking and all sections will be mandatory.

The structure of each paper will be different for all the 5 papers in the Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018 and it will be as follows:

For Law Paper – the paper will be held for 2 ½ hours (two and half hours)

Tips to Remember

  1. Candidates will have to carry their Admit cards along with the photo ID at the examination hall for the verification process.
  2. Candidates must report half an hour before the commencement of the test at the centre.
  3. The candidates need to do all the verification within this half an hour only.
  4. The candidates will not be allowed to leave the test hall before the allotted time.
  5. Candidates must read all the instructions provided by the invigilator at the time of the test.
