Shiv Nadar UG Admission 2018

Shiv Nadar University Application Form 2018 is available on the offical website. You can create a log-in and start filling up the application. You can register for Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT) by filling all sections except Education and Additional Information and appear for the test even before your XII board results are out.

Once you register for the test, the information given in these sections will be frozen and you will not be able to make any further changes. Therefore, please ensure the information provided is accurate and complete in all respects.

Submission of application in the earliest possible round will improve the possibility to get the program/stream of your choice.

Admission Process

Shiv Nadar University will follow a 3-stage admission process comprising:

Stage – 1: Eligibility based on Class XII scores as defined in the section – Eligibility for Admissions and Scholarships – Undergraduate Programs

Stage – 2: Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT) – A combined three-hour test to be administered in more than 100 Pearson VUE test centers across India helping every aspirant to participate in the process.

Stage – 3: Review of Application Form for the candidate’s aspiration in life and the ability to be a stakeholder at Shiv Nadar University

Aspirants need to fulfill basic eligibility criteria to apply.

To be part of the process, the candidate needs to Meet eligibility criteria Be in the Top 90 percentile performers in each section. The lowest 10 percentile performers in each section of SNUSAT and APT are taken off the process.

SNUSAT and APT – A combined three-hour test to be administered in more than 100 Pearson VUE test centers across India helping every aspirant to participate in the process.

The 3 hours standardized assessment consists of:

  • If the same APT serves all the Programs that you have selected, no additional APT is required, For instance, all Engineering Programs require SNUSAT + APT code “1-A”
  • If any of your Program preferences are mapped to a different APT, you are required to take the additional 1 hour APT(s). However, there is no need to repeat SNUSAT. For instance, when Program preference 1 is B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and Program, preference 2 is B.Sc. (Research) in Mathematics, you first need to appear for SNUSAT + APT code “1-A” for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. For B.Sc. (Research) Mathematics, you will have to register, schedule and give an additional APT code “3-C”.
  • All the questions except the SNUSAT Essay and Critical Writing in APT will be Multiple Choice Type
  • SNUSAT Essay and Critical writing sections will have to be typed on the computer, within the stipulated time
