SRH University MBBS Admission 2019 – Swami Rama Himalayan University offers admission to Under Graduate Medical (MBBS) programme conducted at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, a constituent college of the University for the academic year 2019-20. Admission will be made on the basis of on the merit of NEET (UG) – 2019 through common counselling conducted by the State Government or its designated authority and none else.

The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun shall be conducting common counselling for admission into Under Graduate Medical (MBBS) programme for academic session 2019-2020 based on the merit of NEET (UG) 2019. SRH University MBBS Admission 2019 through NEET

The candidates who have qualified for NEET exam on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can apply for common counselling conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University for admission to MBBS Admission in Swami Rama Himalayan University.

Application Form

The SRH University will release the application form for the MBBS course for counseling. Interested candidates will be able to fill the application form for the counseling to take admission in MBBS course. The application form will be available on the official website of SRH University. The candidates must visit the website to check the availability of the application form. The candidate will need to keep their registration id for further process.

Documents to be brought at the time of admission

While reporting for admission, the candidate shall bring the following certificates/documents In Original along with 2 sets of self-attested copies of the same:

  1. Original Allotment letter from appropriate authority
  2. Admit Card of NEET (UG) -2019
  3. Score Card/ Result of NEET (UG)- 2019
  4. High school/Higher secondary certificate for Date of Birth
  5. Mark sheet of the qualifying examinations (class 12th)
  6. Pass certificate of the qualifying examinations (class 12th)
  7. Recent character certificate from the school/college last attended/Gazetted Officer
  8. Transfer certificate/school leaving certificate
  9. Migration Certificate
  10. Gap year affidavit, if applicable
  11. Domicile/Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand Certificate (If Applicable)
  12. Category Certificate (if applicable) issued by competent authority
  13. Ten recent colored passport size photographs & two stamp size photographs
  14. Affidavit against ragging from the CANDIDATE
  15. Affidavit against ragging from the PARENTS
  16. Aadhar Card
  17. PAN Card
  18. Bank Guaranteee /Post dated cheques for the remaining tuition fee of the programme
  19. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from abroad have to give Equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (a Govt. of India Agency)

Fee Structure for MBBS Programme

The Tuition Fee for MBBS Programme shall be as follows:

Category Tuition Fee per annum
For Permanent Residents of Uttarakhand Candidates (40% Seats) Rs 11,10,000/- (Rupees eleven lakhs ten thousand only)
For other Candidates (60% Seats) Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees fifteen lakhs only)

In addition to the tuition fee, a candidate shall be charged the following fees:

  1. One time non refundable Admission fees of Rs. 1,00,000/- for all categories.
  2. One time Refundable Security fees of Rs. 2,00,000/- for all categories.
  3. Hostel Fee for Non-AC rooms shall be Rs. 70,000/- p.a. on twin sharing basis and for AC rooms Rs. 85,000/- p.a. on twin sharing basis.
  4. Mess charges as per actuals.
  5. Enrolment fee : Rs. 1,000/-
  6. Charges for hepatitis-B vaccination: Rs. 1,500/-.
  7. University Examination fee shall be charged as per University rules as and when required.
  8. Educational material fee :
    • 1st Professional Rs. 10,000/-
    • 2nd Professional Rs. 15,000/-
    • Final Professional Part I Rs. 10,000/-
    • Final Professional Part II Rs. 10,000/-
  9. Convocation Charges (to be paid in the final year) : Rs. 2,500/-
  10. Alumni fee (to be paid in the final year) : Rs. 1,000/-

Seats Intake

  • As per the provisions of sub section (1) of section 33 of the Swami Rama Himalayan University Act, 40% seats (60 seats) are reserved for ‘Permanent Residents of Uttarakhand’.
  • In accordance with sub section (2) of section 33 of the said Act, 26% rebate in tuition fee shall be given on the 40% seats reserved for ‘Permanent Residents of Uttarakhand’.
  • Reservation Policy of the Govt. of Uttarakhand shall be applicable on 40% seats reserved for ‘Permanent Residents of Uttarakhand’ category. If the reserved seats remain vacant, then such vacant seats shall be filled up by the ‘General’ candidates under the ‘Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand’ category.
  • If the ‘General’ seats under the ‘Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand’ category remain vacant, then the said vacant seats will be filled up by other candidates.
