- Candidates can be engaged in any occupation, service or deprived of his/her education.

- Candidates must have a UG degree private or regularly from recognised university.
- Candiates having UG or PG degree from a recognised university is eligible for applying in UG and PG course of another discipline.
- A Student who wants to appear for PG course (Privately) is eligible for approved PG course.
- No maximum age limit.
- PG students are required to submit a research report or term paper work.
- Learners are required to study self learning material prepared by the university.
- An annual examination pattern for M.A courses is conducted.
- Student can avail dual degree system in one academic year.
- There is no restriction in submission of migration certificate.
- There is no need of gap certificate.
- The degree issued by this university is equivalent to those issued by central and state government competitive examination and its various sectors.
- Student is not required to produce TC mark memo or caste certificate during the admission process.

SRTMUN Distance Education 2019 Admission Procedure
At first, candidates are required to download and print the Application Form from the official site. After that, they can enter all the required details and then they can submit it with all the required documents and fees before the last date. After that University will verify all the forms and documents submitted by the candidates then after the verification all the selected (eligible) candidates are required to appear for the Contact session and counseling round. Here candidates will be able to get all the information related to their course. Candidates must note that these sessions are not conducted to teach them but to provide discussion and two-way communication about their selected courses. The contact sessions shall be conducted on holidays, vacation and after office hours. The whole admission process shall be conducted in the Study Centers.
