Eligibility Criteria for MBBS & BDS Courses

Candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University.

  • Candidates have to obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test to MBBS/BDS Courses held for the said academic year.
  • For Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile.
  • In respect of the candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC category, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken in qualifying examination and competitive examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) be 40% marks instead of 50%.
  • In respect of the candidates with Bench Marked Disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the minimum marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology taken together be 45% instead of 50% for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Provided that 2 years of regular and continuous study of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology taken together shall be required at 10+2 level for all the candidates. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from open schools or as a private candidate shall not be eligible to appear for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG). Furthermore, the study of biology/biotechnology as an additional subject at 10+2 level also shall not permissible.

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University MBBS & BDS Admission 2019

Admissions for MBBS & BDS courses in Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed University is conducted by Director General Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The candidates who have qualified for NEET exam on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the NTA can apply for Counselling 2019 for admission to MBBS & BDS Admission in Deemed Universities.

Counselling and Admission Procedure

The student should visit www.mcc.nic.in, and Login for “New-Registration”. On choosing Login ID & password and updating requisite data, the candidate registration is completed. Subsequently, the candidate can log in using “Candidate login” to access his/her account.

Choice filling:

  • As per counseling schedule, when choice filling opens, the candidate has to Log in at mcc.nic.in through Candidate Login.
  • Then go to the “Choice Filling” window
  • The software will show all the choices available as per the category (General/ Jain/ NRI) of the candidate.
  • If the selected choice is not submitted and locked within the server time of mcc.nic.in, the choices will get automatically locked
  • Please take the printout of the locked choices.

Note: In furtherance, MCC announces the result and notify the candidate whether he/she is allotted or not allotted to institute from the choices he/she filled. Candidates who have been allotted institute as per result published shall download the allotment letter.
