The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination prepares the Common Merit List based on the performance of candidates in Tripura Joint Entrance Examination both for PCM & PCB groups separately. Candidates can check the details of the TJEE 2020 counselling process, schedule & seat matrix from below.

TJEE 2020 Counselling Procedure
Counseling shall be conducted strictly on the basis of Common Merit List published by the Board and allocation of seats for different category of colleges for different category of candidates would be strictly based on the number of seats for various categories as received from the various sponsoring departments.
Seats of different professional degree courses are received from various sponsoring departments. These seats are usually reserved by the Govt. of India and the other central agencies for the state of Tripura. Besides these, other seats are provided by State Institutions. The seats will be distributed amongst the eligible candidates through the counselling.
Important Points regarding TJEE 2020 Counselling
Selection of candidates for a particular course to a certain College/University will be subjected to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria, including the cut-off marks in Tripura Joint Entrance Examination, if any, of the respective College/University. Candidates will be issued nomination letters for various courses of study on the basis of their performances in the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination.
Certain colleges and universities stipulate the specific percentage of marks in last qualifying Examination (High School or equivalent) and some other conditions including cut-off marks, if any, for admission/entry to different streams/subjects of respective colleges and universities. Accordingly, selection will be made on the basis of Eligibility Criteria and cut-off marks, if any, obtained in Tripura Joint Entrance Examination as specified by the respective departments of State & Central Governments/Institution/Council/Body.
Documents Required for TJEE 2020 Counselling
Candidates have to appear for TJEE 2020 counseling on the scheduled date and time. Also, candidates are required to carry certain documents, original and self-attested copies, at the time of counselling. The list of documents to be produced are as follows:

- Madhyamik / Class 10 Marksheet and Admit Card
- Proof of Residence
- Caste Certificate
- Ward of Ex-Servicemen Certificate
- PwD Certificate
- BPL Ration Card

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) is responsible for conducting TJEE entrance exam and all exam related proceedings. The board was established on April 07, 1989. The Board conducts a single competitive exam which grants admission to various engineering, medical and professional degree courses in various colleges in Tripura. Admissions are granted on the basis of a merit list prepared by the TBJEE on the basis of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination. TBJEE is comprised of 12 representatives.
