TISSNET 2020 Merit List Announced – MA Admission 2020 Waitlist has been out. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, has released TISSNET 1st merit list. It has been released online, at admissions.tiss.edu. TISS releases the merit list via login. Candidates need e-mail id and password to check and download it. As per the new TISSNET admission policy, the merit list for TISSNET 2020 is prepared based on aggregate marks obtained the written exam and personal interview. TISSNET Merit List 2020 Date
Along with the TISSNET merit list, waiting list is also released. The waiting list contains the names of those candidates who shall be considered for admission if seats are left after conclusion of entire admission process. How to check TISSNET 2020 Merit List?
Candidates need to ensure that they have a smooth internet connection and a compatible browser before checking their TISSNET 2020 Merit List. Shown below are the steps.

STEP 2: Clicking on the same, leads to the student login page of TISSNET.
STEP 3: Next, enter the email id and password and download the TISSNET 2020 Merit List.
How is TISSNET 2020 1st Merit List Prepared?
The conducting body i.e TISS, uses the following method to prepare the merit list for eligible candidates.
Raw Score in TISSNET: The raw score is prepared as per their aggregate marks in TISSNET. They are calculated as per the following scheme of marking.
- Total Marks : 100
- Marks alloted for correct answer : 1 mark is given
- Marks deducted for incorrect answer : There is no negative marking.
Compilation of cut off scores: Thereafter, TISS releases the cut off, as per which the ranks are allotted to the candidates.

Online Personal Interview (O.P.I): Candidates are then shortlisted on the basis of their performance in OPI.
Preparation of Merit List: The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in written test and personal interview, in the following ratio.
- 60% weightage is given TISSNET 2020 score.
- 40% weightage is given to personal interview performance.
For HRM and ODCL programme: TISSNET – 40% and TISSMAT – 20%
TISSNET 2020 Wait List!
After the 1st merit list for TISSNET is announced, a waiting list is as per the vacancy and availability of seats in different programmes at TISS. The preparation is done keeping the following points in mind.
- Candidates who have reserved their seat in TISSNET 1st merit list are not included in the waiting list.
- Applicants who have have got a lower preference seat, have their names in this one. They are allotted a higher preference as and when it is available.
Candidates who have reserved their seat in 1st merit list, need to leave all claims of admission to be eligible for the TISSNET waiting list.

TISSNET 2020 Document Verification
Qualified candidates then have to upload their documents at admissions.tiss.edu. They should note that they need to upload only scanned original format and not the computer download copies of the same. Candidates need to upload the following items for verification.
- Attested photocopy of qualifying examination
- Original mark sheets
- Grade sheets
- Migration Certificate
- Provisional certificate of passing
- leaves sanction/ relieving order ( for employed candidates)
- Internship completion certificate
Candidate then have to pay their fee as per the programme selected in TISSNET through the Student Management System online only.
