The entrance exam is going to be held in two shifts. First shift is from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM and the Second shift is from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. The candidates can check the complete schedule for TS EAMCET 2019 from the table below.

TS EAMCET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of the Examination: TS EAMCET 2019 will be conducted in the offline mode.
  • Nature of Questions: The questions will be objective type.
  • Total Number of Questions: The question paper will have 160 multiple choice questions in total.
  • Duration of the Examination: The examination will be of 3 hours.
  • Distribution of Marks: Candidate will be awarded 1 mark for every correct response.

 TS EAMCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for TS EAMCET 2019, candidates need to go through the eligibility criteria set by the governing authority.

  • Candidates should be Indian or belong to the Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
  • Candidates must belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

For Engineering, Bio-Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Technology (FT) Courses:

  • Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.

OR

  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.
  • Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / A.P.
  • If candidates have to apply for Engineering and Pharmacy courses, they should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
  • If candidates have to apply for B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT), they should be 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FT) Courses:

Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects specified below:

With any two of the subjects:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture and Vocational Courses in Agriculture.
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture and Vocational Courses in Agriculture.
  • B.Sc. (Forestry): Physics, Chemistry & Biology OR Mathematics, Biology, Physics & Chemistry.
  • B.V.Sc. & A.H: Physical Sciences & Biological or Natural Sciences.
  • B.F.Sc.: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, and Vocational Courses in Fishery Sciences.
  • B.Tech. (Food Technology): Mathematics and Physical Sciences OR Physical Sciences & Biological or Natural Sciences

For Pharmacy course: (Remaining 50% of the seats)

  • Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age until the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.
  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form

The first step which candidates have to follow in order to fill the form is that they have to pay the Application Fee first by visiting the official website. Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 800 and if they belong to SC / ST category, they have to pay Rs 400. Candidates must also note that the amount of the application fee mentioned here is based on the last year’s information. As soon as the governing authority releases the Application Form, the amount for it will be updated here. Candidates can opt any of the two of the modes of payment from TS, Debit/ Credit Card. It is only after the payment only, candidates will be able to fill the TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form.

The candidates are required to select the test zones in the Application Form itself. The application form has to be submitted in the online mode only. Candidates are required to fill e-mail ID, Hall Ticket Number of Qualifying Examination, date of birth, so forth and so on. After submitting the online application form, the candidates are required to take the printout of filled in online application form because it has to be submitted to the Invigilator at the time of examination.

TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card

TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card will be made available online. In order to download TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card, candidates are required to visit the website eamcet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates are required to enter their Login Credentials in order to attain their admit cards. Candidates are advised to keep TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card safely because it will act as an entry ticket at the time of admission and candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall if they do not have the admit card in hand. The admit card for TS EAMCET 2019 will be comprising of certain information like candidate’s name, date and time of the examination, photograph and signature of the candidate, complete address of the test venue. Also, it is important that candidates should carry a Valid ID Proof with themselves along with TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card at the time of the examination.

 TS EAMCET 2019 Result

Candidates will be able to check their results for TS EAMCET 2019 via online mode only. In other words, they have to visit the official website of the concerned authorities and check their results by entering the registration number and hall ticket number. Candidates will be issued the rank card prepared as per the merit list prepared by the governing authority. The rank card can be downloaded from the official website.

Criteria for TS EAMCET 2019 Ranking:

The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in TS EAMCET 2019 and candidates belonging to the category of SC, ST for whom the qualifying marks have not been prescribed or set will be assigned rank in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the normalised marks secured in TS EAMCET 2019 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant groups namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

Tie-breaker criteria to prepare Merit List

The tie-breaker criteria will be followed if in case one or more student has obtained the same combined scores. Candidates can have a look at the following given breakers which will be followed at that time:

  • The total normalized marks secured in TS EAMCET 2019.
  • The normalized marks secured in Mathematics in TS EAMCET 2019.
  • The normalized marks secured in Physics in TS EAMCET 2019.
  • The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination.
  • If the tie is still on the go, then the date of birth of the concerned authorities, the older being will be given preference over the younger.
