The counselling process is conducted to offer admission to candidates in B.Ed. TS EdCET 2020 Counselling Procedure
The counselling for the exam will take place in multiple stages. Only the candidates who qualified TS EdCET 2020 with more than minimum qualifying marks can take part in counselling process. The students are invited for counselling via an official notice released on the official website. No personal intimation will be sent in this regard. The counselling process will be as follows:
- Verification of documents at the helpline centers
- Exercising web options for colleges
- Downloading the provisional allotment letter
- Reporting at the college with allotment letter on specified date and time
Certificate Verification for TS EdCET 2020 Counselling
After the declaration of results, candidates who qualified TS EdCET 2020 are called for certificate verification. The schedule for the same has already been notified to you in the table on this page. For certificate verification, candidates have to appear in person, at the designated helpline center. Here, the eligibility of the candidates is verified.
TS EdCET 2020 Counselling Fee: During certificate verification, the candidates also have to pay a fee. Based on last year, the amount of fee is as follows:
- Rs 500 for SC / ST Candidates.
- Rs. 800 for Candidates of Other Categories.
Documents Needed During TS EdCET 2020 Certificate Verification
During the certificate verification, the candidates have to produce the following documents, in original, to the authorities :
- TS EdCET 2020 Rank Card.
- TS EdCET 2020 Hall Ticket
- Degree certificate and memorandum of marks of the qualifying exam.
- Intermediate Memo-cum pass certificate or its equivalent.
- Class 10 marks memo.
- Study certificates from class 9 to graduation.
- Residence certificate (in case where the candidate had private study without any institutionalized education).
- Income certificate.
- Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state. This certificate should be obtained from the Tahsildar.
- Transfer Certificate (TC).
- Aadhaar Card.
- PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority certificate (mentioned in Graduation/Post Graduation TC) certificates wherever applicable.
- Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority (in case of SC/ST/BC).
- 2 sets of self attested photo / Xerox Copies of the original certificates.
Web Options Entry for TS EdCET 2020 Counselling
The facility for web options entry allows candidates to select courses and colleges, in which they want to take admission. Only those candidates can exercise the choices, who passed the certificate verification round. The options are to be submitted online at the counselling website mentioned on this page. Candidates can submit multiple options, however, these should be filled in the order of priority.

Step 1: Visit the TS EdCET 2020 counselling website and proceed to fill your choices.
Step 2: Next, you have to login by entering your hall ticket number, date of birth and rank.
Step 3: Click on the “Login” button to proceed.
Step 4: In the next screen, the candidates need to select anyone of the options either “registered mobile” (or) “registered email id” to receive “5 digit PIN number”. Click on “send PIN” button to receive the PIN.
Step 5: Enter 5 digit PIN sent to your registered mobile / email id in the provided space and click on the “Verify” button to proceed to the next step.
Step 6: Verify the information submitted at the time of registration and Click “submit” to proceed and continue to “web options”
Step 7: Click “Add Options” to select colleges Course wise / College type / Fee type in the web options.
Step 8: Select the priority of the colleges by clicking on UP and DOWN button.
Step 9: Click on the “Final Submit” button to submit the final options list. After this, a copy of the options list is mailed to the candidates registered mail ID.
Step 10: Lastly, take a print out of the List of Options for your reference.
