Documents Required for UCEED 2020 Application Form
The candidates must arrange the following documents in the prescribed format before filling the UCEED 2020 Application Form. These documents must be uploaded along with the application for Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) and are be verified at the time of final admission.
- A scanned copy of a recent color photograph where the candidate’s face must cover 70-80% of the photograph.
- A scanned copy of candidate’s signature.
- Qualifying examination certificate, if the candidate has passed the exam in 2019, in pdf format.
- A certificate from the school/college principal in the given format, if the candidate is appearing for the qualifying examination, in pdf format.
- Category certificate, if applicable, in pdf format.
- PwD candidates requiring scribe and/or compensatory time (20 min/hr) during the exam need to upload a request letter in the given format, in pdf format.
Image Specifications for UCEED 2020 Application Form
The candidates must carefully upload the Images as it appears on the admit card for the exam. Images of Candidate’s Photograph and Candidate Signature should be in accordance with the Central Government format, which is described below:
- Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.
- The photograph must be a recent colour photograph. Having a frontal (face) view, with the face covering 70–80% of the photograph. And the photograph should not be more than six months old.

How to apply for UCEED 2020?
Given below is a step by step guide on how to fill the UCEED Application Form, for those candidates who wish to apply for UCEED 2020 examination:
Step 1: Visit the official website for UCEED 2020 through the link provided above, and click on register for UCEED 2020.
Step 2: Next register for UCEED 2020 using the email id of the candidate. The candidates then receive an activation link on their registered email. Click on that link to complete the registration process.
Step 3: The candidates then are redirected to a page where they must fill the basic details for registration.
Note: The candidates must keep the password safe, as it is required to download the Answer Key and Response Sheet of the candidate.
Step 4: Now the candidates are redirected to another page where they have to fill in their eligibility details such as:
- Birth Category
- Disability Status
- Date of Birth
- Year of qualifying class 12th
- Mobile number
- OTP sent on the registered mobile number.
After successful submission of OTP, the candidates are redirected to the application form dashboard.
Step 5: Click on fill registration form button and fill in necessary details such as:

Step 6: The Candidates now must Upload their scanned signature, photograph,DOB proof, qualifying exam certificate in the size specified above.
Step 7: Final Form submission, once the candidates have uploaded the documents, they are redirected to a new window where they have to verify the details submitted by them before final submission. Once you press the final submit button, no further changes in the application form are possible.
Step 8: After the final submission the candidates are redirected to the fee payment section, where the applicants must pay the necessary fee. After successful fee submission, the candidates can then download the confirmation page.

Eligibility Criteria for UCEED 2020
The following Eligibility criteria must be strictly followed before the candidates fill the UCEED 2020 Application Form:
- Candidates born on or after October 1, 1995 for OPEN or OBC-NCL category
- Candidates born on or after October 1, 1990 for SC, ST or PwD category.
Number of Attempts
A candidate can appear for UCEED exam for a maximum number of two attempts and in consecutive years only.
Candidates from any stream (Humanities, Commerce, Science) who passed their class 12th exam in 2019 or are appearing in 2020.

UCEED 2020 Application Form Correction
IIT Bombay does not allow any form of corrections in the UCEED Application Form. Hence the candidates are advised to fill the application form carefully and correctly. The candidate details submitted will appear on the result and scorecard of UCEED. The candidates will not be given any chance to make corrections in the form once submitted.
UCEED 2020 Admit Card
The candidates whose UCEED 2020 Application forms are correctly filled and are not incomplete or incorrectly filled will be issued the Admit Card on the scheduled dates. The candidates can download their UCEED 2020 Admit Card online, from the official UCEED website.
The UCEED 2020 Admit Card contains the following information: Candidate’s Name, UCEED registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2020, candidate’s photograph and signature, examination date and time, examination center venue and important instructions. The candidates have to carry a color printed copy of the Admit Card to the exam hall on the day of the examination.
About UCEED 2020
IIT Bombay conducts UCEED as a computer-based test annually for admission in the Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. It is a national level entrance exam whose scores are shared IITs and other institutes for admission. UCEED is held in the online mode and the candidates are asked questions of 300 marks.
