How UCEED 2020 Result is Compiled?
The result of the candidate is compiled based on the option marked in UCEED final answer key 2020. Candidates are allotted marks for a correct answer and deducted marks for an incorrect answer. The total marks obtained by a candidate is the total score obtained by them in the entrance test. Furthermore, the marks obtained is then compared with other candidates who appeared for the test to and ranks are assigned to them accordingly.

UCEED 2020 Cut Off Marks
Only those candidates who obtain minimum cut off marks in part A and part B of each section are included in the rank list. The minimum % of marks required by a candidate to be included in UCEED rank list is provided in the table below:

UCEED 2020 Tie-Breaker Criteria
In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in UCEED 2020 entrance exam, then in such a case, their tie is resolve by applying the following methods:
- A candidate who has higher marks in Part B of the entrance exam are given higher rank.
- If there is still a tie, then the candidate with a higher rank in Part A of Section 2 is ranked higher in the merit.
- If the tie is still not resolved, then higher marks in Part A of Section 1 is considered.
- If the tie is not resolved by applying the above methods, then they are assigned the same rank in UCEED 2020 rank list.

The result for UCEED entrance exam is released by online mode only. No hard copy of the scorecard is sent to the candidates via post. To check the result, candidates can follow the instructions as provided below:

What After UCEED 2020 Result is Prepared?
After the declaration of result, UCEED 2020 qualified candidates can apply for admission in B. Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur. Admission to B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur is done through UCEED entrance exam. Students from any stream are eligible to apply and appear for this national level test. UCEED qualified candidates need to apply for apply separately for B. Des admissions and the admission is offered based on the merit in the entrance exam.
