UL SAT 2017

UL SAT 2016 - University of Petroleum & Energy StudiesUniversity of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) conducts the ULSAT 2017 for admission to Law courses in College of Legal Studies. Details of the exam are given here. Candidates will appear for the Online test by logging in with their credentials from their computer connected with a webcam and an internet connection. Candidates have the convenience to appear for the test from their home, office or internet cafe.

UL SAT Result & Interview schedule 2017 has been announced. Kindly go through the “Result” link provided below. 

ULSAT Absentee Exam: – This test is only for students who have already applied, but could not take the test on 13th May. This test is only for absentees of 13th May and no fresh candidates will be allowed in this round on 23rd may. Candidates who have already appeared for a test, would not be eligible to take this test. The test timings are from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Reporting time at centers is 1:00 pm. Candidates who missed LLB test can register here: http://www.upes.ac.in/landing_page/ulsat-entrance-exam/index.php. Admit Cards can be downloaded from UPES website from 20th May.

UL SAT Application Form

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to UL SAT 2017 may procure the prospectus and application form by sending a demand draft in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, payable at New Delhi / Dehradun alongwith request letter or by Cash payment from admission counters at Ahmedabad / Chandigarh/ Cochin / Coimbatore / Delhi / Dehradun / Hyderabad / Kolkata / Mumbai. Candidates can apply online through the link provided above.

UL SAT Eligibility

Qualification: Minimum 50% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

Age : Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1997 are eligible to apply for admission (As per Bar Council of India). Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Admission Criteria: UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (UL-SAT)

UL SAT Admit Card

On the basis of information in the Application form, admit card of provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on the University website www.upes.ac.in . Candidates are required to download the admit card accordingly. The duly completed downloaded admit card with photograph affixed (duly attested) in the space provided will have to be produced at the allotted test center. Candidates without the admit card or card without the photograph will NOT be permitted to take the test.

Non-Examination Pathway – LAW Programs through Board Merit/ CLAT Merit/ L-SAT India Merit.

#Upto 20% seats shall be filled through Board Merit/ CLAT/ L-SAT India Category. In case, any seat remaining vacant UPES has the right to fill such seats through UPES Entrance Exam.

UL SAT LLB Programs through Non-exam Pathway

UPES offers 20% of the seats in LLB programs through non exam pathway.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria: Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1997 are eligible to apply for admission (As per Bar Council of India). Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Non Examination Pathway – admissions through Board Merit / CLAT /L-SAT India score (Upto 20% of Seats) :

  • For BA LLB (Hons.)/ BBA LLB (Hons.)/ B.Com, LLB (Hons)- Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLAT ranking upto 5000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will be invited directly for GD and Interview.
  • For B. Tech LLB (Hons.) Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th), minimum 50% Marks in PCM at Senior Secondary Level (12th) and CLAT ranking upto 5000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES-EAT and admissions through Merit Ranking.
  • For BA LLB (Hons.)/ BBA LLB (Hons.)/ B.Com, LLB (Hons)- Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLAT ranking upto 5000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will be invited directly for GD and Interview.
