UP CPAT 2018: Exam Dates, Eligibility, Registration, Syllabus, Result

UP CPAT 2018 exam is conducted by the University of Lucknow. This exam is conducted annually to grant admission to eligible students in the various private and government colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh offering BUMS, BAMS and BHMS. Candidates who wish to appear for this exam firstly need to register themselves for the entrance exam. The application form for the UP CPAT 2018 exam will be made available in the online mode on the official website of CPAT.

Candidates who fail to register themselves before the last scheduled date will not be allowed to appear in the entrance exam. The online registration process is expected to commence from the 2nd week of September and you can last register yourself online for the exam till the 3rd week of September. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to refer to the information brochure and ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criterias laid down by the examination body before they register themselves for the exam.

Domicile: You must have the domicile of Uttar Pradesh and a permanent resident of UP.

Education Qualification:

• If you have completed you secondary and senior secondary exam from UP board.
• You must have cleared you HIgher Secondary examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and English from a recognized board.

Age Limit: The candidates should be 17 years old, as on December 31, 2017. Hence, the candidates should have been born after December 31, 2000.

UP CPAT 2018 Application Form

The application form for the UP CPAT exam will only be made available in the online mode on the official website. The official examination body will not accept the application form in the offline mode. It is advised that the candidates enter authentic information in their application forms. They should also note that they need to provide a valid email id and contact number while registering for the exam. Candidates should also keep a scanned copy of their recent passport size coloured photo, right hand thumb impression and their signature ready in JPG format before commencing the registration process. Candidates should keep a valid government authorised id proof and their caste certificates handy during the registration process.

UP CPAT 2018 Admit Card

The admit card for the entrance exam will also be made available in the online mode on the official website and will not be sent to the candidates via post. The admit card for the UP CPAT exam will only be issued to the candidates who have successfully registered themselves before the last scheduled date. It is necessary that the candidate carry their admit card on the day of exam or else they will not be allowed to appear in the exam. DUplicate admit cards will not be issued to the candidates hence the candidates should make a note and keep a soft copy of the admit card saved on their systems. Candidates need to carry a coloured printout of the admit card on the day of exam.

UP CPAT Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern for UP CPAT 2018 will be of objective type. It will have 180 multiple choice questions and the paper will comprise of 4 major sections Chemistry, Physics, Botany & Zoology. The duration of the exam will be of 3 hours. 45 questions will be asked from each section. Candidate will be awarded 4 marks for a correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. The max marks that can be scored in this exam is 720.
