Selection Criteria

Screening of Application and Interview

  • For all M. Tech. programs, candidates with valid GATE 2016/2017/2018 score will be preferred and may be offered teaching and research assistantship while pursuing the program as per University’s requirements and discretion.
  • Admissions will be purely on the basis of merit and candidates are strongly advised against canvassing and/or extraneous pressure on the selection process. Any candidate found guilty in above activities, his/her candidature is liable for immediate disqualification. The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies reserves the right to cancel any advertised course due to insufficient enrollments or for any other reason beyond its control.

Process of Seat Allocation

Seats will be allocated after completion of each phase

Seats remaining vacant upon completion of each phase will be transferred to the next phase

Mode of Seat allotment: Program Preference, Academic records, performance in M.Tech Engineering Entrance Test.
