The results of UPSEE can be checked from direct link given below. Based on performance of the candidates in UPSEE exam, separate merit lists are prepared for each course. Merit position, score-card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject are available on the website now that result is announced. The UPSEE result and related dates are given below.

How To Check UPSEE Result?

AKTU has implemented a very user friendly UPSEE Result login page. Simple steps to check your result are described below.

Step 1: Click on above link. It is the link for result. When you click it, you will be taken to the login page for results. It looks like image shown below.

Step 2: Login. Now you enter roll number and date of birth. Then click the captcha icon. Wait till it becomes a tick mark. Then login.

Step 3: Download result. Now UPSEE Result appears on your screen. Check it and download it. You should also take a printout.

Selection Process

Merit-List: Primarily, the overall marks of an aspirant are calculated in the exam. To qualify, one must get marks equal to or par the cutoff marks to be eligible for the counselling round. The merit-list feature the list of qualified students in order of merit. One can view Merit-Position, Overall Marks and Marks in each subject in the merit-list.

Inter-se-merit: There might be chances of two or more students achieving equal overall marks, then, in such cases, the tie is broken through the preparation of the inter-se-merit list keeping in mind the following points-

Firstly, by the number of incorrect answers given. A candidate giving lesser number of incorrect answers to placed at higher merit.

Secondly,

For B.Tech

  1. Marks in Mathematics will be preferred.
  2. If there still exists a tie, then, marks in Physics will be preferred.
  3. Further tie would result in preference of marks in Chemistry.
  4. Ultimately, senior aspirants will be given priority.

For B.Pharm.

  1. Marks in Biology will be preferred.
  2. If there still exists a tie, then, marks in Chemistry will be preferred.
  3. Further tie would result in preference of marks in Physics.
  4. Ultimately, senior aspirants will be given priority.

B.Arch

  1. Marks in Drawing Aptitude will be preferred.
  2. If there still exists a tie, then, marks in Mathematics will be preferred.
  3. Further tie would result in preference of marks in Aesthetics.
  4. Ultimately, senior aspirants will be given priority.

B.Tech. (Ag.Engg)

  1. Marks in AG-I will be preferred.
  2. If there still exists a tie, then, marks in AG-II will be preferred.
  3. Further tie would result in preference of marks in AG-III.
  4. Ultimately, senior aspirants will be given priority.

B.Tech. (Bio Tech)

  1. Marks in Mathematics will be preferred.
  2. If there still exists a tie, then, marks in Physics will be preferred.
  3. Further tie would result in preference of marks in Chemistry.
  4. Ultimately, senior aspirants will be given priority.

BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA/ MCA/ Lateral Entry: Senior candidates will be placed higher in rank.

Counselling

The aspirants featuring in the final merit-list will be called for the counselling process where they will be allotted seats on the basis of their order of merit in one of the affiliated colleges under AKTU. There will be five subsequent rounds of counselling which will occur one after another to fill the vacant seats left from the previous round.

The procedure to apply for the Registration and Choice Filling Schedule for each round is similar.

  1. First you will be required to register, pay the registration fee and upload the scanned images of the necessary documents.
  2. Next, the documents will be verified by AKTU at the main campus.
  3. After the successful verification, you can check the Availability of seats and proceed with Online Choice Filling through the official portal www.upsee.nic.in
  4. First round choice locking can be done after you have filled your desired choice.
  5. On the basis of performance of an aspirant, seat shall be allotted to him/ her.
  6. Ultimately, you need to make your mind whether to freeze the seat or let it go to the other candidate with the rank next to you.

The reserved category aspirants will have to provide the Category/ Sub-category certificates at the time of the counselling to support their identity as reserved category candidate.

Cutoff analysis of UPSEE

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks that must be obtained by an aspirant in order to feature in the merit-list. The cutoff for merit-allotment as mentioned in the official brochure is-

  • 25% for the aspirants other than SC/ ST
  • 20% for SC/ ST aspirants
