Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) has postponed the entrance exam for D.El.Ed admission 2020. This has been done due to COVID-19 pandemic in the nation. Earlier UBSE was to conduct the exam on March 30, 2020. The entrance exam is held in offline mode and at a state level. Hence, many candidates gather at allotted exam centers to write the exam and as a precautionary measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, UBSE decided to take postpone the exam until further notice.
The notice has been put up in a PDF format on ubse.uk.gov.in. The notice translates to:
“For prevention of coronavirus, the entrance exam for admission in two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.L. Ed.), proposed to be held on March 30, 2020, is postponed. The revised exam date will be announced later.”

To take admission in the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.L.Ed.) in the state of Uttarakhand, candidates have to appear in the entrance exam that is held in offline mode. Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) will also upload the admit card to appear for the exam on the official website. However, now that the exam is over, the admit card might also be uploaded late.
Pattern of the entrance exam: Uttarakhand D.El.Ed 2020 entrance exam has 200 MCQ type questions. Each question carries 1 mark and the total duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. The distribution of the questions are as follows:
