UUCMS 2022 stands for Unified University & College Management System. Karnataka admission 2022 is being organized through UUCMS platform. The portal uucms.karnataka.gov.in is the common platform for admission to all higher education institutes of the state. The honbl Chief Minister of Karnataka has announced that from 2022, UUCMS will be used for admission process. Now students do not have to fill separate application forms for different colleges. Instead, they can simply get details of all universities, admission, merit list in one place. The UUCMS 2022 application form will be available from 11 July at uucms.karnataka.gov.in.
Latest – Chief Minister of Karnataka has told the press that technical glitches have been removed from UUCMS portal. Students can apply online at uucms.karnataka.gov.in for Karnataka admission 2022-23 from 11 July.

UUCMS 2022 Application Form – How to apply at uucms.karnataka.gov.in?
The complete process of applying at uucms.karnataka.gov.in is online. Initially there were some glitches in the form. However, as per the minister’s statement to media in July, they have removed the glitches. Therefore now, as per schedule, students can smoothly apply. The simple steps to apply are as follows:
- Go to uucms.karnataka.gov.in.
- Then click on the link “New User? Register Here”
- Read all the details in the application form for UUCMS 2022 opens.
- Now fill in personal details first.
- Then upload photograph and signature.
- Thereafter select category, quota.
- And finally enter previous education details.
If a student is from PU board, then as soon as he/she enters registration number and year, the form fetches details automatically. Students outside PU board need to enter details manually.

What are the next steps after I submit my application?
Colleges to which you have applied for will invite you on a particular date for Document Verification. You will need to carry the original documents to the College to get your documents verified. Upon successful verification of your documents, you will need to pay fees either Online / Offline.
Karnataka UG Admission 2022 Through UUCMS In Accordance with NEP
Chief Minister has announced that through UUCMS, students can select open electives at the undergraduate level. Also, the state has made arrangements to enrol students under the National Education Policy (NEP)
The process of application and admission: Student enters details in the form. > System generates a candidate ID. > Student then logs in with the ID and then fills form for university / program of choice. > After applying, students need to follow admission process of respective college.

Qs. Which colleges will offer admission through UUCMS 2022?
Ans. All colleges that come under the department of collegiate education, universities and university colleges, shall offer admission through UUCMS.
Qs. Does this mean that there will not be any entrance exams in Karnataka?
Ans. No, UUCMS does not scrap any entrance exam. To avoid any confusion, students are advised to check university wise and course admission details in order to ensure that they choose the right admission channel.
Qs. Why should I apply at UUCMS?
Ans. Once you complete your registration with UUCMS, you will be able to apply online (from the comfort of your home) to any University, programs, colleges, disciplines all as one registered Candidate and will not have to submit multiple applications to multiple colleges by going physically to each college.

Please contact the university or universities where you want to take admission. As most probably the individual varsities have their own deadlines.
