West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Board has conducted WBJEE 2020. Paper 1 for mathematics was from to 11 am to 1:00 pm, whereas, paper 2 for physics-chemistry was held between 2:00 om to 4:00 pm. This year, students found WBJEE a be a bit difficult. Wrong Questions Identified in WBJEE 2020 Question Paper
Soon after the exam was over, many students and teachers have pointed out the number of wrong questions in WBJEE 2020 question paper. As per the reviews by the students, teachers, and subject experts, the following questions have been identified as incorrect:
In set D, question number 31 of trigonometry is incorrect.

Question number 43 of three dimensional (3-D) geometry is wrong.

Same questions were repeated in question number 1 and 39 in set C.

WBJEE 2020 Mathematics analysis
As per the reviews submitted by the students, the exam for Maths was a bit lengthy and most of the questions were application based. Majority of students said that Section B of maths paper was tough. In comparison to previous year, the exam was tough.
Most difficult in maths exam: 01 marker questions werea bit difficultt in comparison to preious year.
Is there any bonus marks? Yes, as per the reviews by coaching institutes and subject experts, the candidates shall be given bonus marks in two questions in Maths exam as the questions are wrong. Bonus marks shall be provided to every students in 01 mark questions.
Questions repeated from Previous year? Yes, it was observed that a lot of questions were repeated from previous year papers.
Number of questions: Maximum number of questions were asked from Calculus (NCERT), integration and co-ordinate geometry.

WBJEE 2020 Physics and Chemistry analysis
The aspirants said that the difficulty level of physics and chemistry was at par with JEE Main. Candidates who appeared for both the papers stated that both the exam were at of same difficulty level and even the type of questions in the exam was also similar. The paper was of moderate difficulty level.
Easy questions in physics: The questions in the beginning of Physics paper were quite easy as per the reviews submitted by the students. Questions on Electric current and 2-3 questions were asked in the physics
Type of questions in physics: As per the reviews of the studnets, the type of questions asked in the physics section were theoritical type.
Difficulty level of chemistry: Chemistry section was easy and small topics like ,ole concepts, etc were also given attention in the paper this year.
Organic chemistry: Reaction mechanism questions had more weightage in Chemistry paper.
When is WBJEE 2020 Result Releasing?
The result for WBJEE 2020 is going to be announced in the month of April 2020. It can be checked from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. To check the result, candidates require to log in using application number and password. It is declared in the form of rank card which consist of details like merit rank, marks obtained, etc. Qualifiers in the test are then eligible to appear for WBJEE counselling.
A Little About WBJEE 2020
The state joint entrance exam (WBJEE) is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission undergraduate engineering & technology, pharmacy and architecture courses. This year, the entrance exam is being conducted earlier on directions of state govt. to increase the number of intake of students in state engineering colleges. Last year, nearly 1.25 lakh students registered for the entrance test and around 36 per cent of the applicants were from outside Bengal. The pass percentage for clearing WBJEE last year was about 80 per cent.
