WIT Darbhanga Admission 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before proceeding to fill the application form, candidates should meet the eligibility criteria as per the norms of the authoritative body. All the courses mentioned below are open to all Girl/Women who are willing to seek admission in the WIT Darbhanga.
Admission to 4 year B.Tech in Information Technology(IT) & Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
For the academic session 2019-20 is open to all girl students who have passed/ appearing 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics (PCBM) from a recognized University/Board/Council with at least 45% (40% for reserved category) aggregate marks in PCM. Student should have passed in English at 10+2 or equivalent level.
For Lateral Entry to B.Tech. in Information Technology(IT) and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
For academic session 2019-20 is open to all Girl/Women students having :
(a) Passed Diploma examination in a relevant branch from a recognized University/Institute with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology.
(b) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Admission to 3 year PG course in Master of Computer Application (MCA)
For academic session 2019-20 is open to all Girl/Women students having a recognized 50% (45% for reserved category) marks at graduate level having passed in mathematics as one of the subjects at the +2 level of the 10+2 pattern/International or equivalent Examination. Students having Hons. Degree in subjects other (BCA) graduates are also eligible for the admission.
Note:-Candidate appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible to appear in the Combined Admission Test (CAT- 2019) however, if selected their admission will be subject to passing the qualifying exam with minimum qualifying marks as mentioned above at the time of admission.
WIT Darbhanga Admission 2019 Application Form
Candidates has to fill the application form of WIT Darbhanga 2019 in both online and offline mode.
Online Mode: Candidates will have to download the prospectus and application form by visiting the official website, www.witlnmu.ac.in. In order to fill the application form of WIT Darbhanga 2019 candidates will have to enter personal details, communication details, and educational qualifications. After filling up the necessary details candidates are required to send the same through speed/registered post before the last date of submission.
Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 1050/- in the form of DD.
Offline Mode:Application and Prospectus available in person/ by hand on depositing demand draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favor of APJAKWIT,L.N.M.U., Payable at Darbhanga of Rs. 1000/-( cost of application form+ examination charges + postage etc.). After this, the duly filled application form along with photocopy of all the applicable testimonials should be deposited in person/ by hand in office of WIT.
WIT Darbhanga Admission 2019 Admit Card
Issue of Hall Ticket does not certify the eligibility of candidate. All the verifications for eligibility shall be checked at the time of counseling if selected in merit list. Hall Ticket to all valid/eligible applicants shall be dispatched by Registered/Speed Post, in case a candidate fails to receive her Hall Ticket due to postal delay or any such reasons, she would be provided the Duplicate Hall Ticket for which she is required to report at APJAKWIT, one day before the day of admission test (CAT) along with a copy of passport size photograph, photocopy of duly filled-in application form and proof of the postal dispatch/receiving of application form.
No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid admit card. So, candidates should not forget to carry the hall ticket along with an ID proof on the day of examination.
WIT Darbhanga Admission 2019 Exam Pattern (CAT)
It will be significant for the candidates if they will check the exam pattern first and then start their preparation as he/she will get familiar with the structure of the entrance examination. This exam pattern is based on last year information.
Duration of the Exam: The examination will be of total 2 hours 15 minutes
Number of Questions: It will be consisting of 150 multiple choice based questions (in both B.Tech and MCA).
Negative Marking: No maks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
